They are the best tame for beginner servers they are stronger than monke (gigapitgecus) I have no idea if that is how you spell it

Nothing about this creature but i tame and knock out creatures that are around level 60+ but i do tame high levels! Its just hard to find them

DO NOT MESS WITH THEESE. They can easily take out Carnos I littarly saw like two take out a carno in like two seconds. They live in the red wood forest so make sure you make a tree base so they don’t tear you to shreds in less than a second. Make sure you have amazing health and make sure you have op gear before you even take one of theese on

If you're lazy like me and don't want to use tranq darts, you can use arrows but make sure to take a snow owl and heal it when it starts getting bloody otherwise you will kill it.

Bred ones are capable of killing ALPHA REXS, take advantage of their power, and harness it.

Use secondary attack against alphas, the knock-back is better so you take less damage, and it does around 2-3x damage of the primary attack (bite)

I got me a level 150 and this is a beast these things kill any alpha no problem just pump healf an melee an you should be gucci

They are omnivores witch is very unique they'll eat either Berry's or meat making them easier tames and easier upkeep

These are AMAZING! From (admittedly limited) experience, they can gather 200+ honey from a single beehive in less than a minute at the cost of destroying the hive, but it's absolutely worth it. Also, they can help protect their rider from bees. They can take out attacking bees very fast. LMB to attack, RMB to gather. RMB also does damage to other creatures but will not damage the hive.

PS: If you have access to a Quetzal with a platform saddle, you can use that to help the bear get access to more hives and as a result get more honey. I did it and now have thousands of honey. Also, they eat both berries and meat and will eat those before eating the precious honey.

How to tame

Note:I really recommend use soothing balm for a high level on if you were on mobile

step 1:get raw prime meat(of course you can use giant honeycomb)

step 2:find a rock trap(unless you wanna die)

step 3:shoot it with ur tranq dart(don’t use arrow,it usually kill it)

step 4:he fall sleep,tame it with ur raw prime meat(also works with crops cause it a bear,but raw prime meat and honey will do better)

step 5:now you got a high damage,and fast beast

It’s prob best to not take any chances and use darts, but if u do use arrows just make sure your blood overlays are set on in the options menu so when it’s getting too bloody u know u need to stop to give it time to heal. I’m sure it’s not full proof but it’s worked for me the few times I’ve tried it. Both in single player and in official server.

build a stone gate box make sure it is stone and have a tribe mate on a argi and tranq it or use da frog

Whilst walking through the redwoods I saw a Thylacoleo went to hide in a shrub and... super surprise dire bear outa nowhere

Use a trap made from door frames lead it in close the gate trnq dart it and it will fall asleep boas don't work and to tame high lvl one get a low lvl bear get honey with it which is good as kibble for bears then fame a 150 ez
