They are usually non agressive ,unless engaged..but don't let that fact fool you, stay away from it if possible or else its paws will rip you apart and your dinos tooo.!

Direbears, megladons of the ocean except they’re a lot more powerful and that have worse base health

Only down side is in mobile I think but anyways that direbears don’t have sound animations when tamed so you wouldn’t hear them coming

I go pelt hunting for these bring at least a few pack mule cause your inventory get hevy from pelt

I killed two of these furry giants and got 43 pelt!

A very common spawn for them in Valguero is the redwoods

Just give them there personal space and you’ll be fine if they aggro just run away they’ll give up fast

One time I was going pelt hunting in the redwoods ( I’m to lazy to fly to the cold biome) and I went to attack 2 bears and I noticed I was out of stam so I was like “oh I’ll just land and I’ll let the bears beat on me for a bit” And then the two mate boosted max level bears said “ say hi to the purlovia on your walk home!” Don’t mess with boosted max bears

The most insane thing just happened to me! I was up the entire ark night defending my dire bear while taming it with my tappy and then I had to take out an Anky that was trying to kill it and then the raptors I lost started attacking the bear then I killed one of them and then the other pounded on me and then the anky swung and hit it off! Then I used the tappy to kill it. Thanks anky lol.

They don’t attack you unless you get really close to them, but just as a warning, they will kill your tamed dinos without hesitation... me and my friend lost about eight parasaurs and two trikes overtime to them. Just make sure to avoid them the best you can until you have the resources to either kill, or tame one.

If there is a large pack of them, run for your life
