What are tips for dire bear? Tips and strategies for dire bear in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Gotta love how a pursuit on mobile is for you to make bear traps to hunt 2 of these guys, and they aren't even affected by bear traps XD
Bring a owl if you are taming the bear. You can heal it when it’s health are low
THESE THINGS ARE AMAZING!!!!!! They are a little hard to tame but once you do they are so worth it they are extremely fast, extremely powerful and tough useful even out of combat when gathering honey and can insulate you in the snow or heat and allow for more travel, besides it’s a giant cuddly bear, you know you want it.
After freshly taming 2 Rex’s with Bane (my Bary) and 3 favorite Dimo’s, I was on my way back to base and attacked one of these only around level 112 thinking I had plenty of backup with the Rex’s... Nope. Bane and I ran after everyone was destroyed around me... tamed him later from a cliff with my tranqs. He’s such a machine that I would do it all again. Named him Machine
If you have a quetzal you can pick him up and take him to somewhere safe. I recently found a lvl 150 direbear in the redwoods and it died while I was away getting food and got the idea to just use my quetzal. Also if you're on mobile you can do the hunt argentavis pursuit to get a quetzal saddle for free.
Don't use crossbow, it will die
This is a warning to all
Do Not Kill This adorable teddy bear. Unless you wish to suffer the wrath of bear lovers everywhere.
My lvl 80 Thylacoleo with 1800 health and 300% melee damage got attacked by a Direbear and my Thylacoleo got killed pretty fast. These guys are a killing machine. RIP My cat :(
If you find your self in a fight with a dire bear be careful they are strong and faster than you unless you trained for the marathon then you will have to fight it
best early tame on aberration great combat and harvesting tame
These guys camped the exits to the cave I was in and I only had a bow bruh
No-one really uses these- they are so underrated. I’m planning on taming a few as my terrestrial tanks. Tbh, I’m surprised something with this much power is so looked over
