Tips & Strategies
A high-level Dire Bear can take down a Giga with the right strategy. Here’s how:
1. Lure the Giga to an open, flat area with enough space to move freely.
2. Use the Dire Bear’s speed and stamina to circle around the Giga quickly. Always stay behind it and keep biting its legs continuously. This prevents the Giga from landing its powerful attacks on you.
3. The Dire Bear is immune to the Giga’s footstep damage when it walks, so you’re safe as long as you stay behind it.
4. Keep an eye on your stamina. If it gets low, sprint away quickly. The Giga won’t be able to catch you.
5. Once you’ve created distance and the Giga loses interest, heal up and regenerate your stamina.
6. Go back and repeat the process. Be patient and stick to the strategy, and you’ll be able to take it down.
Make sure your Dire Bear has high stamina and melee damage, and always stay careful!

Tyranosaurus rex the ark butcher (meat, prime meat, mutton)
Hits like a Mac truck, more damage than a rex, easily 8k hp, super fast, LOTS of weight, awesome stam, great attack speed, gathers meat, berries, and fiber, super easy to tame, cheap saddle, pretty much a cheap theri that hits like a rex, fast as a galli, and has quetz weight. I’m pretty much just waiting for a nerf.
