He is a great fiber collector just use his special attack but how will you tame him?
Get a crossbow, get over 40 tranquilizer bolts, an assault rifle (optional), and tranquilizer darts. I recommend you get 70 narcotics if you're going to take level 10.
Attract him and then climb to a high place. I recommend you attract with argy or with the pteranodon. After that, you attract him to a place where there are mountains. You climb the mountain with the pteranodon or argy (argentavis)So you shoot him when he starts to run away Go down with your speargun, go to the ground and leave it there on the ground, then start chasing the bear and activate it more until it falls. If you are going to use a crossbow, just shoot until it falls. After he fall give it raw meat for him and the narcotics So you just have to keep an eye out there to see if there are any animals because if someone or something attacks it will make the effect of the tame will be useless and then it will go down so I recommend you kill all the animals that are close.
And now you have your third omnivore dino!

How to tame on of these :
I recommend using a trap since they run pretty fast and possibly into something dangerous. So let's go!
Step 1: Bring around 100 TranqArrows. Should be enough, depending on the level and your aim :'). Also make sure to bring something to keep him sleeping, depending on your settings.
Step 2: The trap. The basic 4 stone foundations, 8 doorframes and 2 stairs. You build 2x2 fountains and put all doorframes on it. Then build the stairs so you can walk on it.
Step 3 : Find a Freddy Fazbear you like to tame.
Step 4: Build the trap near your bear.
Step 5: Shoot the bear and lure him into the trap.
Step 6: Shoot it SLOWLY. It hasn't got much health and TranqArrows do 'a lot of damage'. Wait like a minute for each shoot when it starts bleeding.
Step 7: Feed it when it's knocked out. It eats kibble, meat, honey and berries.
Step 8: Have fun with your tame :)

BEAR trap does not work on him
If you guys are wanting to have a really strong tank of a Dino, then definitely get a direbear. I have a level 67 bear and she is an absolute unit!!! She has 2,064 hp and she has over 300% melee damage, and she is my beloved baby. I have found a max level male bear in the redwoods and heโs beautiful; black on top and white on bottom. I am really wanting to breed themโฆbut Iโm worried about what things itโll need though. So I gotta hope and pray that it doesnโt want something crazy. Wish me the best of luck everyone!!!
USE DARTS, arrows will usually kill it before it knocks out
These things are absolute beasts, they do insane damage, grind like a boss, and gain momentum while sprinting, to tame these, get a mount which allows rider weaponry and invest decent amount of health in it. Then let it aggro on you and start tranquilizing them ( rifle advised since x-bow may kill it ).
Its torpor run isn't that annoying so just knock it, feed it, then wreck the island's almost every bit( gigas and titans are exceptions ). Up if this helped.
If you on mobile and meet it at 200 Or more (hard or brutal) donโt be happy because i was. The topor too much and heath is litte so . If you want tame him at high lv( watch his heath).( my english is bad)
To make honey last practically forever, make a fishing rod and equip honey, that is about to spoil, to the fishing rod, then un-equip it. It should refresh the spoil timer. Does not work with leech blood. Tested on PS4.
