Tips & Strategies

What are tips for dire bear? Tips and strategies for dire bear in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
My dire Bear is level 189 and is so powerful it easily killed an alpha Rex level 78 Amazing for base defence
My tip? Down a Direbear. Tame the Direbear. Love your Direbear. Must have, all round excellent creature!
It’s very very powerful, i am in a casual easy, since I have started the game about a month ago, and I found a lvl 27 880 health, and creatures in this server RARELY pass level 30 in the wild, after I tamed it by starving it for 600 food( it had 3300 food ) I feed it prime meat, that I got from paraceratherium with my argy. After tame it became lvl 40 1040 health, an absolute monster, with 8k weight, I just 1 taped a 221 health gilli WOW! Just WOW!!!
By far most versatile Dino in the game. Best metal gathered you can get if you don't have a quetz. My dire bear has over 3k metal and it's quick to get back to my base
One of the easiest passive tames besides the giga! :)
Dire bear don't care
Bear traps won’t work so build like a stone trap from it
You can not tame bears living in caves!!!
Amazing starting tame. Start in center redwoods, get some metal going, maybe a pt. Build maybe 3 grapples, a crossy, and make a pit-fall trap. I’ve done a 2 stone foundation with stone gateways and 4 Ramos. LISTEN! When you ko a bear, you could / should use HLNA or a magnifying glass. Shoot the bear about 12 (8 to be safe) and feed yourself and make sure it eats your body every time. You don’t need to waste hours on a longneck with like 45 tranqs. You only need about 70~(if you miss or arks stupid registration) for one.
Idk why everyone says tranq arrows kill it, I used tranq darts on a lvl 27 and I knocked it with 163 remaining health
this, this os a great fighter for early
i have tamed one lvl 16 and now she's lvl 35,
hes can run fast
great claw
can Harvest prime, fiber
great weight
also little tanky
y'all should get one
Look out for the Direbears, they’re like regular bears... but dire
Use a tapejara or pteranadon or quetz to put it in a 4x4 stone cage with normal stone doorframes as walls. Make sure it's two walls high.
