Got into breeding direbears would definitely recommend we have one over lvl 300 and we are fully imprinting them to get them even better.

I use these guys for so many things like one getting honey safely two they are pretty fast because they slowly get more and more speed while they are running and three they keep you super warm

I heard these guys are good for gathering honey and can reach high speeds when running

Absolute speed Demons immune to bees

These guys will be your best friend when moving bases, they have alot of weight 1K+ weight if its a high level and they have alot of speed for short trips

and it can defend its self against basically everything but a giga and titan.

Best for getting giant bee honey!

If you want to keep it in one ace don't use bear trap use large bear trap

These guys are useful as tanks.

With one you can do cave runs easier if you have a dino to do the real damage to dinos inside (like a direwolf).

The bear changed the game for me. Easiest thing there is to breed since they're an omnivore, so they eat berries, just be aware that they eat meat first if you're breeding anything else close by.

My bear has solo'd lvl 60 alpha Rex while only losing 10% health. Sounds unreal, but they can also solo alpha death worms.

Fighting them head on could prove unBEARable for lower or even mid level mounts.

This bear is better (bearer) in groups of 6 or more for PVP

It takes about 20 tranq darts with a journeyman rifle on a 150. It has over 900 weight and I'm inlove.

Primitive server tip: use taming pen and magnify glass.. bear will run when torpor is high, you can see how much torpor and how much damage your arrows do with Mag glass, torpor drops slower than health goes up :)

I found a 150 Dire Bear (pure black), and knocking it out with crossbow & tranq arrows almost killed it. Left it with 300 health out of 2500 so my recommendation would be to use tranq darts & tranq arrows as a mixture and or just tranq darts if you have enough. Tips from yours truly.-Nova

These bears are brilliant mounts- they can run fast and do a monsterous amount of damage. You can take rexs on these and if things go south you can outrun it anyway.

Make a 2×2 stone trap with 8 doorways and ramps on one side. Lure the bear and knock with darts (xbow will kill it). Feed honey or prime and boom! Tamed bear. Enjoy
