Like with the Megaloceros, I like these things as a pet. But you can also use them to transport essentially your entire base to a new area plus have enough space to do some resource farming.

I don’t know if it’s just me but mine does no damage so I use it’s knock back for taming.

These may see useless but are quite useful if u know how to use them, if ur base is in a mountain, tame some of these and they're gonna fling every attacker, (be careful with flying dinos tho)

Just tame one, slap a saddle on it, grab da boiis and go mining for metal!

Great at hauling cargo. I tamed one quite early in the game because I thought it was cool and named him Diplomacy. Pumped all his points into speed. Now he’s level 107 and runs around faster than Usain Bolt. I like to use him for metal hauling. While he doesn’t have the weight reduction an ankylo has, he’s so much faster than my Ankylo that it’s worth it.

While they can only push stuff, diplos do have an offensive ability; trample which can kill some critters. What can it trample? I forget for ASE but on ASA it can trample small untameable bugs. All (or most) large creatures have trample in either version however it is not as lethal as getting trampled by a dino in other games.

The Diplo can harvest wood and thatch

For an attack it just pushes u back, so easy hunting.

Use this dino as a bus or use this dino to carry a lot of taming materials since they are fast and have a lot of weight

Great for pack animals if it has protection

For people who think this thing is slow...u are wrong. Once u tame It and ride it, it can outrun a giga. I'm serious. Try it out urself. But use the sprint. Not normal walk, up if helpful. Good to carry goods foyer long distance quickly.

Good for prime meat when you need them.

For the guy who wants to transport their diplodocus to herbivore island. You must empty the diplodocus’ inventory and go to the island once you are their request them in the tame menu this will teleport the diplodocus to the island automatically

For early player… should try to tame this Creatures.. 1 should enough.. because can carry tons of item… mine around 1700kg .. especially when u want to move to another suitable place… but make sure have a bodyguard around it… like raptor… easy passive tame but take time and DONT EVER try to taming near a cliff if u dont have parachute.. or use petranadon as ur ride when taming this big baby..

Watch out, this guy/girl will launch your tames (if you have any nearby), don’t let it intimidate you though, it can be tamed with kibble, advanced crops, and berries.

Use as a tank when taming dinos, only if it can attack you, making it a perfect distraction, as any carnivore will go after it. (Upgrade health).
