People think the diplodocus is useless, but it has some uses. Here is a guide to it! #1. The Diplodocus is found in the Redwoods, and I think some beaches. It will not hurt you, but will knock you back far. They are a passive tame, but will take forever to tame, so be patient. #2. The diplodocus is fast when tamed, and can push enemies away. Their saddle might not be great for single player, but on multiplayer, it can transport up to 10 people. You can transport others to battlefields. #3. Friends told me it's the easiest to tame noglins with since they don't damage you or the noglin

Just use them for Rex XP because they just knock you back with weak-ish damage

Very good at luring big dinos like gigas and rexes into taming pens, you can just level its health and let it facetank them and they're very expends so it's no loss if your diplo dies.

Don't underestimate this dino's usefulness. It may not do damage but it's knock back is very useful for holding off raiders. If your base is near a cliff you can knock players and dinos off it. Another thing is that diplos actually do trample damage. This means that it can kill small creatures like bugs, dodos, and compies by walking in them. In addition there is no level requisite to tame it, so it colud be the first dino you tame.

I would say you could use these for some metal or anything heavy to carry it is a good use for this and they are fast, so tame some and you got a giant bag that follows you, and do not bring them into the wild.

Get a diplo an and a rhynio have people sit on the diplo pick up diplo = attack helicopter if you have guns.

To the ppl that say that they want a platform saddle for the diplo... have you read the dossier of the diplo? But but yeah they do need a whip attack tho.

This guy is extremely good for titan taming I breed high level diplos level up nothing but health give them saddles and make them attack the titan. Since the diplos don’t do damage they distract the titan and make you able to destroy the corruption spot without difficulties this does not work with desert or king titan but the forest and ice titan yes

I will forever argue that this is the best first tame. On Aberration, I tamed one before I even made clothes and it saved me from several basilisks, raptors, and ravagers while carrying huge amounts of resources. Taming one is a huge head start the moment you spawn in.

These can be found at weathertop (where my base is )but there is Swamp nearby so if you go under its legs your safe.

Diplo is a mass hoarder, I can use its whip attack to get resources and it has tons of weight, though if I were to gather resources using it u need to have a escort either rex or just anything to defend your Diplo

If playing on a insta-tame server, run around passive taming an army of these if you're doing foot raids picking you will be impossible
