I discovered during a bit of playing around that diplo’s aren’t targeted by nearly every small aggressive creature, including microraptors! If you ever want to quickly (or slowly) get past microraptors and don’t wanna get dismounted than this is your tame!

If you go to one of the Obelisks, you will be able to get a cropod and freezer. Now there not cheep but you will not only be able to use the cryopods to safely transport your dinos of the island.

You will also be able to charge the cryopods in the cryofreezer indefinitely. Be careful though, if a dino is stored in the pod when the pod looses power, your dino will perish. I hope this helps, Good Luck.

If you are on a cliff and you are trying to tame this dude be careful because he can't attack, but he can push. So it might happen that it will just yeet you off of a cliff. And also if you touch or be near it it will become aggresive and it will push you around.

Everyone says they need a tail whip or defense in the wild. I say NO! If they were argressive in the wild then it’s like agro brontos running around.

These bad boys are the best way to get prime meat! (Make sure you use a flyer so you don’t die in the swamp, or use a sarco . ) Because the best place they spawn is the redwoods.

If u are scared of getting ur tame killed.from brontos or rexs just for prime, then kill a diplo, good prime meat source and no damage

In the ark world, this is the equivalent of a tour bus.

I am not kidding if you get attacked by a sarco you use diplo to make the croc focused on killing and it will take a long time and even longer if you spam health and put a saddle on it. A dilo is fine to attack but terror bird is better.

Makes up for in speed (running) for what it lacks in damage so great for metal runs.

Big playful dinosaur like Barney does no damage you could make an uber with this guy on servers

Can be used as a soak. Runs very fast has a crap ton of health and can probably be used to broadside shoot rockets off it's back while soaking turrets. This is assuming you get a health roll and level only health. You should see yourself at at least 37k health when fully leveled.

Extremely good for starters and pros to carry resources

The Diplodocus needs a update. Because the Apatusaurus could whip its tail and cracked the sound barrier. And the Diplodocus have a really closely looking tail as the Apatusaurus. Imagine the damage a carnivor would get in real life when it got whiped by a tail that brakes the sound barrier. The Diplodocus isn't a defenseless small creature as its made in the game. It do need a platform sadle. But the damage with the tail need to be added so its realistic as they actually could do that. Give the poor cute dino a way to defend itself 😊

It’s nokback can not do damage but can pish things off cliffs or in traps

Here’s a troll: build a large room with a large Dino gate instead of a door( make no exits 😛) and put a narc tripwire trap in front of the door. Push a bob into the trap then close the door boom u have a new bob who can be ur pet or servant. If u don’t want a noob as a pet put improvise explosives all in the room. Beach bob goes boom. U can use this for a lot of trolls.
