Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a diplodocus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a diplodocus.
Me rn chilling under a female slowly passive taming 😎she pushes my dimorphodon so I don’t have to dance under her
I can’t really passive tame it but me and my friend just knocked it out and fed it berries it was the easiest way for us
There is a spot under its belly were if you stand there it can’t knock you around but it does take time to find it but it’s worth it
Don't bother knocking it out. Jist get your back against a stone and make the diplo come right above you. The gap between the first two feedings will be huge so be prepared to sit in front of your screen for a while
Just run under the legs make sure you have mejos (having a harvesting animal is a good way to get them) and then you have got a diplodocus! They are great harvesters they have great weight so you can carry a lot on them but be aware they can attract carnivores the saddle is expensive but wort for a tribe holds 10 people but is expensive
Be in a safe open area and have plenty of mejo berries in you 0 slot. Give berry, run around it to make it use energy, give another berry till it's tamed. I wanted one and got it before my knocked out tame was at 43%. I hope this helps.
These guys are commonly found on beaches and they can be outran by just simply running these guys are slow when they aren’t tamed but they run pretty fast once tamed regular kibble is their favorite food but Mejo berries work too I recommend mejo berries because of how their easily found by harvesting bushes I hoped this helped
Just get under them and feed then and try to stay under them, they won't be able to push you.
Before u tame its melee damage is 0 only does knockback
I tried with rock carrots and savoroots, it wouldn’t let me feed the diplo with them
Why you should tame these and how:
Step 1: Get a LOAD of berries.
Step 2: Find your Diplo & try getting under its belly cos they can knock you
back far far away (they do no damage tho)
Step 3: Start feeding the Diplo since these are passive tames.
Step 4: Keep feeding the Diplo until its tamed. Didn't want to mention this but
the time between the first and second feeding takes a LONG time.
Step 5: Name your Diplo, equip the saddle and start harvesting!
Why you should tame these:
Reason 1: The saddle can hold 10 passengers and 1 driver. The passengers
can use weapons while on the saddle. These can be really useful
when hunting in servers.
Reason 2: Although these do no damage, they have an ability to send a large
force and knockback any nearby creatures/players really far.
Diplos also love Algae, on 2x official they get ~2.5% per Algae but it doesn't give them much food so they take in <5 mins to tame.
I would like to know cause I saw one and stole it's egg and it started pushing me. Though I just rode on my trike and kept moving forward but is it still playing with me or trying to kill me after I stole it's egg 🤔cause right now I'm tryna tame it😅
You can just stand under one and it won't be able to push you
U can knock a diplo and tame it that way too!
Who else uses this as a bus.
A way to skip the wait after you initially feed it is to sleep in a sleeping bag (mine was 1 hour and 14 min, i used a bunk bed and it skipped most of that time), then after that feed it a second time, position yourself between its 2 front legs while it is doing its eating animation, so that it will keep attacking but won't knock you back, and just afk and feed it every 25-45 seconds.
also be sure to do this in a safe place, since if it gets hit once your taming progress will reset.
These Dino’s take years passive taming
In ark mobile these things will for some reason attach you if too close 🆙 so people see this
Just give them berries but they will start pushing u away so keep running and when it gets hungry again feed it
