Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a diplodocus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a diplodocus.
For anyone that wants to passive tame it here is an area under it where he will play the push animation but it wont actually push you this leaves you only with the annoying rawring to deal with for more than 10 mins
I’m planing on taming one (👍if it’s worth it, 👎if it’s not)
Legit no lie, if you want to knock out tame them, you can punch it out without being flung to Asia. As long as you camp near any on the legs, you’re golden!
Stand between their front legs, right at bottom of their neck. So u will never knock back, feed them from there
When taming to make it easier stand against a cliff or a good sized rock. I tamed one for my brother and it was a piece of cake with that technique. Also if you find that the place you find the diplodocus isn’t safe just get near it and lead it away. They won’t hurt you they just like to swat you around like they are playing a game of soccer.

Stand under legs for no knockback so u can tame but earrape
Just get under them and you already won
You need about 100 Mejoberries. You should probably tame it around a bushy area, so you can keep collecting berries. Do not attack a Diplodocus! Just get close and start feeding it mejoberies. Feed it one mejoberry every time it says to. Diplodocus will knock you around during taming. This is not an attack. It's just playing.
Best place to find them is in a valley, get him/her stuck next to a cliff. Settle under 'em, just behind the front legs. They stop eating because they are trying to push you away. I stayed in place the whole time. Level 35 used about 33 berries, total time, including getting 'em to stick against the cliff side, 35 minutes. Second berry is like a 5 minute wait from the first berry. After that every 30 seconds or so add a berry. Obviously the higher levels will need more berries and time. Hope it helps.
Always check for dangers while taming it. This thing is found in mountains and valleys and also sometimes it throws me into a spino or a carno or a pack of raptors
While taming, keep a close eye on your surroundings. Nothing is more annoying than almost taming a diplodocus and a dilo comes out of the bushes and bites it (which resets the tame bar)
They are very playful and like pushing you back. If you can get underneath them you can stay there (they won’t move out of fear of hurting you and they can’t pish you away) and you can tame them for there. I go right under their stomach and it is best to come under from behind.
If you want to take it, get a ton of berries and walk under it. There is a spot under it were it keeps attacking you but cannot hit you. If you find this, look straight up and feed. It doesn't move and can't hurt you
They are unique. The only dino that has the playful nature, the only dino that can be tamed in any way, ect.
Whoever said tame by standing between (or just behind) front legs, is very much right! Just be careful not to get attacked or let it get attacked by some other raptor or something. Reset the tame meter.
KEEP IN MIND! If you dare to breed these... the babies eat TONS of berries QUICKLY! Put probably a couple thousand berries in its inventory and it might last you a bit...
Don't count on dododex to be accurate with timers or with the amount of kibble needed.. expect to bring extra kibble and allow the starve timer to run just a bit longer before feeding.. too many times I have been left looking at a 90% taming and zero kibble in its inventory, even with higher level kibble. Bring extra. I've gone and been let down too many times going by what this app says to use.. don't be like me.
These are naturally peace-loving creatures, preferring to spend the days grazing about the island’s many hills and valleys. They have an inherently playful nature, leaving them undeterred by any predators until they become severely injured, at which point they get scared and will attempt to flee. Because of this, tamers have taken advantage of this overtly trusting nature and have tamed it like so. They have also tried to jump on it’s back for taming, usually just to find themselves tumbling back down to the ground again. The Diplodocus is so trusting that one can even knock one unconscious for an easier tame, at the cost of tranquilizer arrows, and a fair bit of them. Also, be careful during the taming process as they tend to nuzzle you in an act of affection during so, and be careful if traveling near a Diplodocus who is unaware of your presence with a berry-gathering animal, because it will gladly take an accidental hit during gathering as a play-invitation.
How to tame : Get mejoberries / Or kibble. Then go up to a wall after getting its attention then just start feeding it it’s so simple. ( Also don’t try to knock it out )
Trying to knock it out I haven’t tried but I don’t think your able to take it it’s knocked!

If you stand right underneath him he will constantly try to attack you but wont hit. He also wont move. Look at his belly, feed him the berries and just stand there.
