Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a diplodocus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a diplodocus.
You should tame raptors if you gonna tame this dinosaur so it could keep safe
Joe mamma can tame this
NeEd mOrE WoRdS
What are these for? They do no damage and just get eaten by basically any carnivore
Take a mantis with high melee and equip an asendent club and this knock out machine will do the trick
If you feed it the right berry, it will tame faster
Can you feed him by knocking him out and how do you hand feed them
This Dino is friendly don't get on his bad side
Is a total bus so use it's speed and dart it's saddle can hold up to ten people so if in war use it as a tank and go for the gates!
A quick smooth way to tame a diplo is to have a small taming pen, make the kibble needed before hand for a passive tame. Then have it agro onto you since it does no damage you don't need to worry about it hitting you. Lure it into the pen and just lean against a wall of your pen and just let him constantly push you. You won't actually move and it saves a lot of kibble and time to passive tame rather than KO.
One of the easiest ways to passive tame a Diplodocus would be to try to run under it (The best place is behind the front legs) and duck. If in the right spot and done correctly, the Diplo's hitbox will not be able to reach you, keeping it in the same spot.
I used to be afraid of them as they'd gotten me killed alot early game; often pushing me into the water, but I eventually realised they just wanna play! They don't do damage when nudging you, but like alot of bigger dogs they seemingly don't realise their size and strength.
Super wholesome (passive) tame, 110% recommend getting atleast one.
They're super easy to tame too, when they nudge you run to their side and go under them, stand right behind their front feet and they won't be able to reach you but you'll be close enough for them not to move alot; you can also reach the "feed when hungry" option from here!
Must have a therizinosaurus. Get a bunch of carrots
And knock him out. Took 30 minutes then tamed.
Non violent doesn't work on Ragnarok
Best way to tame is by knocking it out
If you have a couple of these or even an army of these diplos, the diplo can be indestructible because of there amazing power to push dinos away if you take on a Rex with diplos the diplos would push the Rex that far the Rex would care about them anymore to make a good Dino combination to have a nearly Indestructible army is two raptors one diplo or two for more pushing power a couple of dilos to slow down the enemy and maybe a Carno or Rex in the mix to for major damage so try that combination and see how it works
For knocking out I lured it near one of my gates and just shot it repeatedly, taming was easy as it was right near my base
Forget all the complicated tips…. Fill your inventory with mejoberries like 100 stacks…. Find a diplodocus… Agro it on you from standing in front of it but give it distance and don’t let it hit you down hill or you will take hella fall damage!! If it hits you up hill u take 0 damage or up hill against a rock is the best one your back is against a rock up hill diplo down hill you run under the diplo crouch looking at its belly… bam now you just put stack of berries in furthest right box on hot bar and feed the diplo every time its hungry… then enjoy your new diplo
I’m staring at a lvl 135 Diplo with a max food of 31k. I have noticed that there is a point where Dino’s get hungry, and this one gets there at 28.5k. Each mejo is giving it about 100 food. I’m not sure if the required feed level is a percent of max food or what though. Anyone have any idea?
I suggest knocking it out although you can passive tame it it is a long tedious process and it would just be easier to knock out
These Dino's can be knocked out or passive tamed. Keep in mind the kibble or berry cost for knocking it out is much more. Simply stand under its stomach so you don't get hit with their knockback and have the food in your last item slot on your hot bar. Like with most passive taming the time interval between first and second feeding is long but after that it goes as normal. Very simple and easy tames since they do no damage to you when they knock you back. Just be aware of any wild Dino's in the area.
