Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a diplodocus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a diplodocus.
Is it just me or after the first food they run out of hunger faster?
Unlike other passive tames, or tames in general. This creature does not lose teaming effectiveness if accidentally pissed off.
So you won't lose any progress. Although you'll have to deal with the annoying push until it's calmed down again. But leaving a short distance seems to calm it down.
Just stand still middle of its front legs look its belly and tame it with last slot fruits, vegetables or kibble. He cant bounce you like a balloon that way.
It's pretty good on pvp although it does not do damage it can push very big things off cliffs like allos and Rexes even gigas get pushed around by these things but kill diplos easy pretty much every thing attacks these though even compys
Sometimes it is passive tame which doesn’t make sense cause it’s so big
Tip when it's running away then that means 3 more night night arrows
Try and find one in a smaller place they will just roam about and then just feed it mejoberries and walk around with it, it doesn’t attack just nuzzle u, however that can prove fatal at high cliffs, so just be careful
Tamed one and then understood how useless they are. They even get stuck on the tiniest rocks and trees they can easily knock down.
There’s another way you can tame this without getting hit, fly with something like an argy and make it hungry then feed it like normal
Only tame these guys for shooting stuf on it it there saddles expensive even for if your past the beginner stage they don’t do any damage and is good for like getting your mates on it to mock out stuff if you want to nock out stuff and it starts a attacking just make sure it has more than 10 hip
When gaming run around them so they exercise more and they will get hungry faster
For me with no taming boosts it took exactly 20 mejoberrys going up by 5% each time just had ti run away from it sometimes but that could help bringing it towards my base and out of the water
If you try to knock out him with melee you pretty much can’t he has amazing knock back
Passive tame with mejo berries..after first feeding won't eat again for between 5 to ten minutes...after that it's about every 40 seconds. Tame bar only goes up by around 4 percent per feeding so you'll need around 30 berries maybe more depending on level
When you’re using a mejoberry for a diplodocus (1-5 lvl) it takes a awfully long time just to feed it a mejoberry but also when it’s being clumsy or playful just get it stuck between two rocks on go to the high one on a mountain if you do not want to get annoyed.
This thing eats... A LOT. It took me my whole mejoberry crop to tame one high-leveled Diplo
To prevent the Diplo knocking you away while taming, build a one wall high box for yourself. It'll just push you into the wall and you can keep running over to feed it
He has a blind spot at the center of his belly. He will continue to headbutt you,but it will never hit you, and he'll never reposition himself.
Ok, so what you want to do is stay under its belly while it knocks another Dino into a corner.
Try to get it stuck on a man-made ancient structure so that it can’t fling you constantly
