Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a diplodocus? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a diplodocus.
Takes about 5 mins from first feeding interval to the second, after that it's about a minute apart
Just going to see if you have the right equipment or stats you can knock this guy out to tame him because the passive is very hard on certain things such as consoles
You can knock them out to tame them but it might be hard givin how much they might launch you across the map.
The first thing you should do to passive tame however, is create some thatch foundation. Place it across some high water and position the dinosaur so when you stand under it, it dosent move. This might take a while but it’s definitely worth it.
Each berry you feed it will raise it by about 2%, but you should probably get about two stacks of berries because of how long it takes, so they will spoil.
When knocking it out you have to be very careful that there isn’t any small animals around. If a compy runs underneath it, you won’t be able to get it out, and it will slowly kill your dinosaur.
I hope this helps!
Just get your tamed dino and hide under the belly of Diplo and keep your dino on follow you, it will keep attacking your dino and u keep feeding it
Why do these attack you but it’s a passive tame? SMH!
A dumb and poor dino....Due its size, Beginners are scared of it...But folks,It does zero damage...Not kidding. It only has a knock effect which does even increase the torpor...You will need tons of berries...Specially,mejos...It would take a while,But take it as your giant harmless puppy dog.It egg is useful...Very useful..
The best way to passive tame a violent one is go under it so it can’t hit you but you can still feed it somehow…
Doesn't do damage but I love it cause 10 seats omg this makes me so happy
I was able to tame this in about 5 minutes. Put mejoberries in your hot bar and feed the first berry. Once it starts ducking for the ground to eat, that means it’s hungry again so feed it the next berry. Rinse and repeat. I only used 3 berries total.
The first one takes about like 5-15m and then each Mejoberry increases by 1.1% so you might need about 90-100 berries.
They take forever to tame best to try to have time at least 30 minutes
Holy Crap do these babies eat a TON
what i did to tame is stand in front of rock so it doesn't knock me back and then feed
He never wants to hurt you
But he’s very pushy cause he wants food
And and a very itchy saddle
This is probably the only passive game you should agro but a good way to tame one is to agro it on a flyer preferably a pteranodon they do not much damage and are fast have mejos in ur hot bar and fly above it it’ll just stand there trying to hit you with its head and then dive In on it when you see the orange meet coming of it’s face and feed again easy peasy
Generally these guys are passive tames on level three below I fed them four mejo berries and i had four but I uploaded three of them they hold at least 11 people apart.
How to tame Diplodocus: grab a healthy amount of mejoberries. Walk over to the Diplodocus. It will try to flick you away, so walk under it. If you position yourself under its belly perfectly, the Diplodocus will not move and keep flicking its head. You won’t get flicked away and you can just sit under it and stuff mejoberries in its mouth and enjoy your Diplodocus. I just use my Diplodocus as a bus.
A good way to tame this is going under its belly look up and keep feeding it mejoberrys it will not move it will only try to attack you but it won’t succeed if your doing it right. ;)
Both the Brontosaurus and Diplodocus say that they are 1# ranked on the food stat. Upvote for this to be changed!
These Bible bois take a veery long time to tame but once you do it it's worth it cause you can fit 16 people on its saddle good for pvp and pve
