What are tips for diplodocus? Tips and strategies for diplodocus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Get right underneath the belly so it can’t nudge you around, then wait for it to get hungry.
These dudes are straight up terrible when you feed them berries they just whip you ( without damage ) for not hurting them.
Grapple hook onto the diplo so you can just press e when its hungry
This dinosaur if you accidentally punch it you have a not big of a problem because it’s slow and weak.
Just feed him berries I tamed one when I ham on level one but it do not do any damage a dilo will also kill it
My diplo was a lvl 28 and it only took me 100 mejo
berry and it only took me 20 minutes
These things take a lot time to tame. But if you use a soothing balm ( the ones you get from watching ads ) you'll only need 3 - 4 mejoberries with 100% taming effectiveness!!!
U can ko tame them and it goes faster
They are speedy tanks, able to get high health whilst retaining mobility. The downside is that it's very large and it's annoying when random meganuera start attacking it but it's so large you don't know where they are... When they are not an issue this behemoth can clear a forest and have enough capability to carry all the loot and your entire tribe while being mauled by all sorts of beasts and still continue on and are too easy to tame... I suggest specialising stats for their purpose, speed and stamina for transport, health for PvP, weight and stamina for collecting...
Taming this is easy as pie and takes as long to do as making a pie, unless you got kibble.... Just check how much berries it's gonna take to tame get as much extra as you can, double is most recommended Also get food and water for yourself depending on the level you can be there taming it for 3 in game days Once you feed it it's gonna start pushing you and you tames around so leave them somewhere out of reach, Since they take so long to tame get them to the beach or somewhere else safe with a source of water nearby. If you run out of berries no worries, this tame does not forget your tame progress soon. You can be far for 2-4 minutes before it's tame progress resets or it's when it leaves your immediate area or when it fights Now at first it's gonna be cute when it pushes you around like a cat toy but after a while it gets annoying. To remove this effect entirely run between it's two front legs under its belly. It'll continue pushing you but you'll be out of it's affect area and then
Prone under his belly, just after his front legs, he cant reach you but you can
Someone was able put a diplodocus in the master of the ocean idk
Be sure that if one of these is nearby you and you attack something else, like a iguanadon, LURE IT AWAY. Diplodocus always headbut me and than the iguanadon runs or attacks me
Well if you dont wanna be tail whipped wheneve ryou wanna tame it you can just tranq em and do it like you tame any sleeping herbivor
You have to mount on a flying dinosaur and get the berry it wants and keep feeding
It says ok tame but it’s passive tame-L shadowmane
They are not gentle giants and strong
It’s fun to run around with it right behind ya I tamed one and it stopped and started to lose health I was freaking out. I was gonna cry. Also they super quick when tamed also bring it with you to dangerous islands it can knock almost any creature back all you have to do is fight the creatures since it can’t fight. ;) :(
