I'm a level 11 at the time I tamed one not hard, but give it the berries it wants I learned that the hard way

If you manage to get underneath it’s chest try staying still And feed it from there I have 2 that have been easily tamed this way unless my game was just glitching they couldn’t push me away and they still ate my burries

Passive works best, just run to their side and feed em.

I heavily recommend bringing an escort dino or cryopod because the areas Diplos are in are infested with predators, Diplos have no way to defend themselves aside from knockback.

The easiest spot to avoid being pushed away is in between it’s front legs. It will sit there and repeatedly do the pushing motion but you will remain untouched so you can tame it without running all around trying to get near it.

One got killed by a raptor and two scorpions… free meat and vedabre for me

These thing go agro on you as soon as you get near them and it killed my level 2 raptor…

Well there is easy trick to tame these guys ,

1) Build 2-3 walls or simply a room enough to fit a diplo so other carnivore cannot attk it while u are taming ( have w window or something from where y can feed it) ,

2) Once u loose aggro, Diplo will continue to attack ur walls which makes them Hungry fast Than U loosing aggro and they wandering around.

If this goes Well up it so other can Try it out too

Due to its huge weight pool and high movement speed it can be used for metal runs. Just use magmasaurs, ankys or mining drills to harvest metal then put it in the diplos inventory

It doesn’t take savoroot to feed it.

Never try to attack these things near cliffs or swamps, one knocked me off a cliff into a swamp filled with Sarcos and Titanoboas

For Abberant Diplos; passive tame by feeding amarberries

These dinos are usefull for many things such as tanking if no turtle is around also i understand that you could use a turtle instead but try this in your next raid it could save your life send in the turtles and then bring the diplos make sure you have at least 3 of these guys they have the health and weight of a bronto with much more movement speed also functions as super fast 10 person getaway in case the raid goes wrong this tactic is especially useful if the tribe you are rading is setup on a mountain easy kills because of knockback have like 3 people on the diplo and the rest on rexes and you will be fine make sure the 3 people the diplo have a steady supy of rockets of the diplo dies then you have 2 more to mount knockback is the best part of this tame this dino can knockback rexes and allos very usefull and if u dont see any other use just have your teibe go on a jurrasic world type adventure take good care of these guys they also gather berries mildly so dont rely on them

If you own one just go on aberration you’ll get a but ton of berries maybe to much I’d say

Okay so I don’t like taming them cuz I saw one (getting killed I helped it) and after that it said “Need taming food to tame” so I was like yay and then it killed me… so yeah I don’t like them

Whenever you go near them they accidentally mock you away with their tail. Their actually really friendly!!!

Try your best to stand under it , when you look up you will look at its tummy ,but there he cant hit you away, so you can feed it as it gets hungry and you dont have to move or anyting, it wont step on you either so your save and its easy, just make sure you have alot of berries.

I figured out these guys like to headbutt you. It doesn’t do damage, but it sure is annoying.

If you want to move your base tame one or two of these things they can carry everything.

If u dont play multi player then i suggest just kill it but its egg is kinda usefull for eation and making some kibble
