What are tips for diplodocus? Tips and strategies for diplodocus in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
A good way to tame this is going under its belly look up and keep feeding it mejoberrys it will not move it will only try to attack you but it won’t succeed if your doing it right. ;)
Both the Brontosaurus and Diplodocus say that they are 1# ranked on the food stat. Upvote for this to be changed!
These Bible bois take a veery long time to tame but once you do it it's worth it cause you can fit 16 people on its saddle good for pvp and pve
To tame feed it one berry, walk off and let its food bar go down a few thousand.Come back to it and for me I found a spot right in between its front legs where if I stand it stops moving and sits there basically letting you fill it with mejoberrys till its tamed. If you cant find the little area to stand literally just walk in circles underneath it.
1. Get 100+ mejoberries
2. Find one of these suckers
3. Stand in between of its front legs (bc it can’t hit you there it will stop to try and won’t move)
4. Feed it
5. Congrats✨you now have a diplo
If you want the diplodocus to attack, maybe you don’t know the existence of the bronto which is REAL aggressive. diplodocus already has attack and it’s throw you into a bunch of raptors or megalodons and kill you
Do not stand Near Big cliffs they can push you off and kill you instantly I recommend don’t stand near any cliffs !!
So if you wanna passive tame I found a sweet spot between its front legs in which it will be stuck trying to push you but can not. It takes a bit to find it but once you do just get a bunch of taming good and get yourself a quick transport Dino.
Help them a kill stuth there nice
If you get in between the front legs it will attack constantly and remain stationary, but not be able to knock you back. If your new just have some mejo berries and feed it. It’s a passive tame, and can’t hurt you, so you’ll be just fine from then on. Just watch out for predators!
Passive taming during 2020 Christmas event on x1 took 9 kibble
There health levels to huge amounts! There also so easy to tame On ragnorok I was tameing a bronto while I was doing that I found a level 140 horse 🐎 used its secondary attack to knock out a level 50 diplo in the area on ragnorok near the volcano where you find a giga which I tamed only a couple days ago. Tamed useing the knock out method instead of the passive. Transfered my pets to extinction ( I tamed them all useing vegetables from my extinction green house) because of the levels ups they get when you transfer them I level my diploma health and it was already 10000 thats a lot of health for a mid level herbivore. There huge health combined with a pharmamone dart it makes the ultimate distraction for lets say stealing a magmasaur egg.
Passive tame gives you a 10/10 Dino without torpor
The way I got my diplo is that I used my bird there is danger down there like raptors and Carnos so when it’s hungry dive down and feed it
If you want to tame one they are noob tame if you can find one. Also they. Are. A. Bus. Litarlly because their saddle holds TEN PEOPLE. And it’s impossible to hit silos and raptors. And question ark. WHY. WHYVIS THIS THE ONLY LONG NECK LARGE CREATURE WITHOUT A PLATFORM SADDLE!!!
Mejoberry is most affective ya I just tried dat
These guys hold a LONG grudge and WILL follow whatever it is they wanna annoy even when its your raft all the way out in the ocean after you passed by it coming down the river...
Get right underneath the belly so it can’t nudge you around, then wait for it to get hungry.
