They have no strike damage. These dinos only push you far back.

Quite easy to kill if you have a strong tame, fast enough to come back after the push.

While they can only push stuff, diplos do have an offensive ability; trample which can kill some critters. What can it trample? I forget for ASE but on ASA it can trample small untameable bugs. All (or most) large creatures have trample in either version however it is not as lethal as getting trampled by a dino in other games.

Easy tame I've almost Tamed two at level 23 or 24 I forget what level I am not anywhere higher than 30

Ok so on here it says that you need heaps of berries and other foods to tame it. Idk if it’s different for me but all I needed was 10 azulberries (the blue ones) and in ten percent increment the diplo was tamed. It was only level four but idk. Also to avoid being pushed back by the thing it does, corner yourself and stand in front of a rock. Makes it so much easier and you don’t fall off a cliff. Just stand and wait to feed it. Easier than I thought it was going to be.

It’s easy to kill the diplo without help with friends or creatures step 1 craft a spear step 2 get under the diplo belly step 3 hit it again and again on the belly so it can’t hit you (You may need to repair the spear)

For people who think this thing is slow...u are wrong. Once u tame It and ride it, it can outrun a giga. I'm serious. Try it out urself. But use the sprint. Not normal walk, up if helpful. Good to carry goods foyer long distance quickly.

Good for prime meat when you need them.

I literally had to use a balm and like 1000 mejo berries to tame these at least it’s saddle is at level 32

If you wanna game it easier it takes a long time for the first tap between but then you wait like 20 seconds and it’ll go faster when taming

Takes about 5 mins from first feeding interval to the second, after that it's about a minute apart

Man mine ligit head butts me so I would say tame it and then just run wait til it’s hungry

Here is what I did I got 4 dinosaur gates and put 9ne in front of the diplodocus and the back then you can put the other 2 gates beside him and boom just wait crouched and with a gillie suit

Just get your tamed dino and hide under the belly of Diplo and keep your dino on follow you, it will keep attacking your dino and u keep feeding it

A dumb and poor dino....Due its size, Beginners are scared of it...But folks,It does zero damage...Not kidding.It only has a knock effect which does even increase the torpor...You will need tons of berries...Specially,mejos...It would take a while,But take it as your giant harmless puppy dog.It egg is useful...Very useful..

When taming a diplo, stand up against a cliff because the do knock you back and might knock you towards a dangerous dinosaur or off a cliff

They start attacking me when I’m close even though I’m not hitting it. Even when I try to passive tame

Watch out, this guy/girl will launch your tames (if you have any nearby), don’t let it intimidate you though, it can be tamed with kibble, advanced crops, and berries.
