Good bait to use to agro a giga to your trap due to its large health pool and zero damage can provide a good distraction

Everyone’s talking about how it’s good for meat but the real silver lining in the diplo is that it’s eggs give you I believe the most food of any eggs trust me I’ve eaten almost every egg imaginable you name it I ate it...not including gigs and non island creatures.

These guys may not be any good for combat but are ideal for metal runs just make sure you have something protecting you and your diplo

There’s a sweet spot slightly between but kind of behind the front legs where it won’t reposition itself nor push you away. Once you find that spot you don’t need to move at all, making taming these guys a little easier.

Since these big teddy bears can't really defend themselves tame a couple of little birds mount the diplo whistle for group follow. Then turn thier group whistles off (so they don't leave) and put the follow (so the don't get in the way) and attack range better at high. They will then stay with the diplo at all times protecting it.

Pretty good at carrying goods and decently fast and can outrun a raptor(if lower level than diplo and wild)

You can possibly have 12 people instead of 11 people on ur diplo. 11 people go on the saddle while person number 12 rides the tail (its kinda tricky to get on there tho).

These things are annoying as heck but a good tame just make sure it doesn’t send you flying

Build a small pin (for you) I used one foundation and 4 window frames. The dippy stands on top and you won't be moved at all. Tame away!

If you stand under diplos they can’t hit you, you need lots of time and hundreds of berries.

If you have a Archaeopteryx, use the diplodocus to get a good start on your glide and youll gain a bunch of speed. If you need to get somewhere fast but dont want the hassle of running and trying to not die, definitely find yourself a diplodocus.

Don't underestimate the knock back of these guys! I was once knocked off a cliff to like 10 HP and the guy followed me down and proceeded to chuck me across the landscape.

They always spawn on cliffs or plateaus, i've noticed. Just so they can knock you off. Be wary of these!

Easiest way to tame a diplodocus is to find a diplodocus 🦕 with a child now tame a raptor or any other carnivore they should at least be 3 carnivore now attack the mommy diplodocus keep an eye on the baby diplodocus when the bigger one does go near the small one and tame it

First feeding is supper long..... then every 2 mins feed kibble --- then just like that your done

Somebody should’ve said sooner that their little bops don’t hurt. I fed him a mejoberry and he proceeded to come after me hit me one time idk if it hurt all I knew was I ran asap. And that it’s easier to tame them passively by giving them mejo instead of shooting tranq arrows

If you stand between their front legs they won’t be able to hit you and they won’t move.
