Getting overpowered isn’t hard. Just get 6-60 of these guys then rule ark.

If you are wondering whether to get these just know they are in my opinion one of the best in the game, I dont normally do reviews but these guys are insane, I was with 4 of these, all level 230s and encountered an alpha rex, these guys demolished it in a matter of minutes, all having around 2k health and 500 melee, they are incredible for cave runs especially swamp cave on rag, overall an amazing dino, best shoulder mount

Get several high levels and Make them follow something such as a dodo, put them in a tall, open building on aggressive and drop wild dinos in the pin to level them up. And when war breaks out, make them follow a tank so they can knock flying people off their tames. (Idea from sl1pg8tor)

Having this guy on my shoulder saved me when a Thylo pounced me off my pt. Big damage.

If you tame a ton of them you will have an air force of vicious ungodly creatures capable of terminating of any creatures that dare attack you or your tames

I used to hate these things, they killed my high level procoptodon.But when I decided to tame two, I fell in love with them. Derpy protectors. Low levels should definitely tame one thats alone!

I tamed 1 once on mobile while playing with friends on a server and roamed around with it. I got knocked out by a snek in the swamp and it killed the snek. After that I always tamed them when starting out on a server

I tamed one of these that was level 30, put it on my shoulder and forgot about it. Until I was attacked by a lvl 22 sarco. I got tossed off a cliff and my little shoulder decoration flew up and eventually killed the sarco by itself!!! Saved my butt

I wish people would know how useful these guys are. A pack of about 3 or 5 can take out a (low - medium) rex.

Just upgrade in movement speed. Healt and damage and the rex is dead.

How to become a warlord just follow these simple steps:

Step1: Tame a lot of these monsters

Step 2 : Tame more

Step. 3 : level them up until you feel satisfied…

Step. 4 : Target a animal of choice as a ermmm… test subject…

Step. 5 : ( the fun part) grab your popcorn, and watch as a cloud of dimorphodons swarm your opponent until they clear up revealing the skeleton of what used to be the target! >:D

( bonus tip don’t target a titanosaur :( unless you don’t want you dimorphs anymore )

Take a turtle with high health, put it on passive and wandering, then make your dimos follow it. Lots of levels for the dimos.

Use these as distractions, works in pvp too.

Are not affected by oxygen while on your shoulder, so it helps you to find your body if you die because it will be flying right above the water where you died. Also if attacks while on your shoulder, so it can collect bodies for your herbivores, help keep attackers off of you, and can be thrown at Dinos do kill them. There is no reason not to carry one, they are very helpful.

Tame a high level one, set on neutral, and dump all points on damage to have your own personal microraptor/thyla/kapro/purlovia defense system

They can fly through windows, so if you want a cool base defense set up 1x1 boxes of windows and fill them with these guys

These guys do a lot of damage, and also doubles as a last ditch meat shield, if your trying to escape a carnivore, if you have a lot of them then you can muffle the screams of your enemys as they get shredded on top of they’re mount… get a little more then you are a dimorphodon army leader who sits on a throne with a dimorphodon cloud carrieing you to victory… and so on.

I think of my flock as the rainbow cloud of death - I use them as bodyguards for my argentavis >)

My new way to hunt: i have one of these and set it on attack target, put it on my shoulder and get a weapon. then i find sometging to kill, get if to attack something but don't take it off. then when the time is right i yeet it at the target and help it kill the target. works on smaller things, but still in testing at the moment.

After sometime of using dilos and dimorphodon as bodyguard, I realized that the dimo are much much better, a bit harder to tame then dilos but they can come a long way. They are much more maneuverable than dilo so they won’t fall behind, except in cave, recommend at most 3. When they attack, they encircle the enemy, the dilos standstill, so the dimo can easily kill any carnivore with 0 casualties. The Theri was my dilo’s nightmare, now with the dimo the Theri is just trash. They can even kill a Rex super quick with enough numbers.

So, if you got all the tools needed to tame these, replace your dilos bodyguard with these as soon as possible.

wild dinos attacking you will attack the Dimo if its perched on you. it also harvests corpses automatically
