To get at %100 effectiveness and max lvls gained tame a good lvl moschop pump nothing but health put blood packs on the chop let bat pick up the chop not you it will gain effectiveness but not tame % once at %100 then let the bat grab you while having blood packs on you to tame it up this to help pretty easy tame start with low lvl to get lots of easy packs for higher lvl

i have looked at the youtube tier lists for fjordur and this is always at the top! i would argue but still good mount.

Just tamed a mated pair and I used a high level ovis with all points into health and I found that if you start the tame then let them grab the ovis several times to get it to 100% effectiveness then let them grab you to finish the tame. If you let them grab the ovis first they will slowly lose effectiveness as they're grabbing you, so it's best to get them mostly tamed then up the effectiveness and finally let them grab you to finish the tame

You don't need to sacrifice a creature to get taming efficiency up; just put some blood pack in the dino inventory, it'll save a lot of hp on the dino you're letting the desmo play with.

Also this seems to be faster efficiency gain than just letting it eat a dinos hp, needs a bit more testing tho.

Here’s a some steps to tame a high level bat:

Step 1: get some blood packs from yourself(69-89)

Step 2: tame a low level desmodus

Step 3: use the desmodus to look for a high level you want

Step 4: look at Dododex to see how many blood packs you need

Step 5: use the desmodus to get enough blood packs for that level

STEP 6: just go right in and tame that bad boy >:D

EXTRA: the reason I suggest taming a low level desmodus is because it would be faster to get blood packs using it rather than using yourself and having to wait to heal or respawn. Hope this helps!

This might be modeled after an onyc based off the fact they are both bats but it might be tamed like a blood stalker cause this may be a vampire bat. It will likely reside in dark areas and it’s enemy would be titanaboa (like onyc)

It requires maybe 5-10 blood packs for a level 1-5

If you need blood bags fast, get snow owl and have someone making blood bags and just tap the heal button on the owl and you heal Instant so can go again. Did this and got about 300 blood bags in about 30mins or so, only have 120 health. You should only need about 100 to tame most but bring extra because your not going be able to not grabbed by others, and bring parachutes

To tame it I would recommend a moschops so when the bat picks it up taming effectiveness is boosted when you have 100% effectiveness let it grab you and I recommend have ATLEAST 100 blood packs, more would be recommended for higher levels. Once all that is done you should have a brand new desmodus draculae!

If you let it feed on a smaller creature multiple times, IE a maschops with good health, it raises the taming effectiveness before taming it. Bring a snow owl to keep the maschops healed. Takes patience but gets you higher levels

Similar to the bloodstalker you'll need to sacrifice a tame in order to raise the taming effectiveness. I suggest bringing a moschops since it's the biggest thing it can carry. Bring two just in case, and once it reaches 100% lure it away from the moschops and let it carry you and feed on you or the bloods packs in you.

How to tame. 1: find one they come in 2-4 of them in a group then kill the ones you don’t want. Then put blood pack in your inventory then let it pick you up then make a saddle a now you can fly in caves!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇

They are pretty easy to tame. It’s best to make almost 100 blood packs and go to the emerald trench and there will be desmodus on the roof of the cave.

Tame low level first to gather easy blood packs with, put fence supports to the ceiling at end of the main desmodus cave on fjordur desmodus can't fly through them, kill low levels save desired level, send in high level moschops with blood packs to get to 100 efficiency

Guys if you don’t want to go into a cave to get these they also spawn on the swamp island in Midgard.

You can raise babies/juveniles with either raw meat or blood packs. No difference to maturation rate, however, they eat raw meat at a much faster rate.

Kill all Desmodus besides the one you want to tame.

Get the attention, and net it.

Use 4 Dinogates to trap it, like standard argi trap.

Throw a Daedon in the trap, cryopod or walk it in.

The Desmodus will lift the Daedon and affectiveness will rise to 100%. Once 100% is reached you can open the gates and start the taming. Don't forget the bloodpacks in your inventory and glidesuite or parachutes are recommended 😉
