1) get good armor so it’s attacks don’t kill you

2) get a bunch of blood packs, dying and respawning with full health is faster than healing it all up

3) actually find one, recommended is a spyglass o and a good weapon or a strong tame to take out the bugs in caves, I usually go to the emerald trench and look for them on the ceiling in the wide-open cave

4) Find a good level and kill its friends. Shooting it with anything will get its attention.

5) DONT ATTACT THE ONE YOU WANT TO TAME! instead, let it grab you and eat your blood packs, this raises the taming bar

6) be careful not to take fall damage, and repeat the grabbing and bam you got a Desmodus!

So based off what we know Desmodus is a vampire bat, speculating that it will have an echolocation ability and be able to drink blood (somewhat like blood wyvern) it would be interesting to see if it could be used in some of the larger caves not necessarily as a flyer but as a climber along with possible attachment to enemies (like deinonychus), all just speculation, I hope people love it! :)

Use a megalaina to increase its taming effectiveness make sure to put some lvl into the megalainas health works like a charm moshops work to but found megas better

Pretty important to note that in order to receive the extra levels for efficiency you need to "feed" it a passive small creature before/ during the taming process. Each time it feeds on you it loses efficiency I don't know what tame is best used but I am using a Moschops and it is working well.

You don't need blood packs to tame a Desmodus, you are the blood pack yourself. Just pack 3 beds and sacrifice yourself to the low level Desmodus so you can have blood packs for higher levels.... or just do it the normal, painless way.

The sanguine elixir also imprints baby 30%

Get a good pteranodon, build a trap made of double doorways and a gate in the front, use the pteranodon to lure the bats into the trap(Pteranodons can fit through double doorways but bats can’t) net gun all the bats, close the gate, kill the low level bats, then tame the one you want.

I think it's most likely gonna be like the parasurs danger sense but its also like a Tek helmet for blood.🦇🦇🦇

One of the comments suggest using snow owl to get blood for first one. Not bad, but every time you heal using owl, it’ll go through your meat. If you can make med brew.

They’re probably one of the best tames in the game but they’re only on one map so sad

These tames are insane at killing alphas I have a 170 was a level 80 wild tame and I have killed over 20 alphas in two days that includes level 90 alphas Rex’s they are also use blood packs to instant heal once they reach a low enough health percent

This bad boy gathers Blood Packs directly from creatures even while the target is alive. Extremely helpful for taming Bloodstalkers!

They pick you up and eat blood packs out your inventory

Easy taming :

1) Use med brew to heal yourself while you extract blood packs with a blood extraction syringe. About 100 is fine.

2) Agro bats and run away. Wait until a lower level one gets left alone.

3) Get your best armour and clear the area. Put blood packs in your last slot and let the bat pick you. Don't struggle, just stay still.

4) After taming, use it to gather blood packs. Then tame a Higher level bat.

These can pick up some dinos even though dododex dosent say they can.

ELIXER WORKS ON IMPRINTING !!

Tested on gachas and deinonychus and desmodus !!

Easy not try hard taming: Put blood packs in your inventory, and multiple parachute. Let it grab YOU, after a little it'll drop you, parachute down. Repeat, easy. These comments make you think it's hard, it's not.

Use the elixir next to a baby creature and you will get 30% imprinting

Tame a bad level first than tame high level with the blood packs that it gives you
