Have somthing kill them for you. like an group of steggos or trikes, try not to lettit be carnorvores. also find the dead bodys laying around. they can help early game:)

If you are a new player, just spawned in, dont have any armor or clothes, NO TAMES, they will protect you if you are attacked. This is from my experience though, my game might be bugged. Though they will attack your tames. This goes with the enforcer as well.

This stupid moron makes early tames near impossible to get, Use any weapon but get behind them first. Their attack range is huge so don’t get close if not looking for a fight. Have fun getting ur mounts screwed hard into hell - peace 🙄
