Deathworms cannot be tamed or ridden through normal gameplay, so knockouts, torpor, narcotics, and force-taming are not legitimate taming methods. If you fight one, use a strong combat creature such as an enraged Megatherium and keep your distance with a flyer while using flaming oil jars.
