Get a Rex with atleast 10k health and 200% melee damage. If going with a buddy, I highly recommend bringing a Yutyrannus with you. Their strength boost is very helpful in situations like these.

Steal high level wyvern eggs, imprint them & it’s an easy kill.

Can be found on Ragnarock as well around the area of like 70 LAT and 80 LON in that massive desert, make sure you got something strong to kill it, recommend rock golems , giga , or rexes, Desthworms do a lot of damage so being on a tame is advised!

Bring an army of high level wyverns and ride any creature that’s fast enough to escape the deathworm (or you could just ride one of the wyverns). Use the orbit camera to look under the ground until you spot a worm, run over it and whistle your wyverns to attack it. And don’t let it access any of your holes.

The death worm has basically the stats of a world boss and the alpha death worms yikes also there’s a corrupted one

Do NOT fly ur Oasisaur too close to the ground or else it just teleport to the oasisaur ground and kill u

If you see orange dust in the desert run faster than sonic

You can lie down prone on the ground and enter orbital camera to see them under the sand. But beware, there's a glitch where they can despawn as you approach, because of this glitch I've never gotten the chance to fight one

This is not a boss why do they say it is

You can only force tame it in creative

To find them just run/fly around and look for them when they first render in they flash out of the ground I found three in under 5 minutes each

I brought a radar stryder to SE to look for Phoenix and found that there are many many worms. I found 9 out from green ob alone. Most worms are up against the map walls.

How to tame the death worm (even though you shouldn’t be able to in the game files, or something, because I haven’t checked yet LOL)

1. Touch real grass (optional)

2. Enable Cheat commands

3. Set up a trap of any kind, because it doesn’t matter that much

4. Fortnite emote, now that you have trapped it, so you could make the taming process faster

5. Use the “forcetame” command on it

6. Congrats! You have tamed a death worm!

7. There is no 6th or 7th step to taming a death worm, I just wanted to think of something lol

Just use a megatherium with the insect killer buff to kill these worms

Don’t be in a desert area or die

There a devil themselves if u don’t want your tames to die then run for your lives

If you see one... RUN LIKE HELL IT WILL TEAR YOU APART!

best way to kill a death worm is to get a decent level thyla with 3k health and 200 percent melee and then just keep hitting it with your bleed and it will eventually die.
