I don't know if anyone said this already BUT if you Forcetame the deathworm on single player or something, it eats meat! In order for the death worm to get out from the ground, you need to first, locate where it's at then step either on or around the worm and it'll come out.

If you’re in the early to mid game, an easy way to kill these creatures is by using a Thylacoleo with high HP, since it deals percentage-based damage. It works on Golems too!

The mod got officially shown by the ark team. With the high quality no untameables mod. You can tame these. There given new mechanics and attacks. Alongside a model update. Allowing it to be fully out of the ground. To tame you'll need death worm horns. Place down a death worm trap. And lure one into it. Onde it's stuck have a strong tame ready as once trapped. It'll start calling nearby death worms for help. Kill them and feed the trapped one horns. And after 3 feeds. Tada you have a death worm of your own. Stick the saddle on and enjoy a very powerful mount

If you see a couple big sand clouds when at the edge of the dunes... Just accept your fate. I wandering into the dunes riding my raptor and had my high level direwolf with me (Had all my stuff in it) goofing around with the oasisisaur and I saw the clouds coming at me... My direwolf put up a good fight but died and I couldn't get his stuff back since they were guarding it. Just think of outer dunes as off limits for terrestrials.

For the iceworm cave on ragnarok, a mantis with a good sword will slaughter everything

Get a Rex with atleast 10k health and 200% melee damage. If going with a buddy, I highly recommend bringing a Yutyrannus with you. Their strength boost is very helpful in situations like these.

There’s a mod available on ASA,the ‘No Untameables’ mod. Firstly,you’ll want to make yourself a deathworm trap (also available in the No Untameables mod) and lure one to you. They really hate the sound of wardrums (mammoth drums included) so that’s a good start. However… once one is caught in the trap… run. A lot more death worms will appear so make sure you kill them and lastly,make sure you have deathworm horns on you,put them into the trapped deathworm’s inventory and boom! You have a deathworm now!
