Alright guys, I've found a solution to this abnormality of a deviant enemy. Have 15 or more high lvl Wyverns and a flame thrower. Worked wonders. Killed one of my dragons and ended up coming back to base with 15 more Wyverns. That Deathworm was not fun at all.

Best beginner tame out there. This little cute wormy boi is a peaceful tame. As soon as it come out of the ground, just pet it like it was a hyaenadon. It insta tames. I love casually using these as a shoulder pet!
