Go in on a wyvren (does not have to be a night level) bite at it a bit run away to heal your wyvren and then come back and finish it (that’s what I did)

The best way to tame one of these guys is too get right in front of it and passive tame with stimberrys just trust the process

Force taming works, but the death worm will vanish after about 5 minutes.

This requires 2 people have someone hold a shield then someone else shoot at the worm

To kill a deathworm you should get a pack of medium to large carnivores (allosaurus-Rex) and attack it from all angles.

Also it is a good idea to bring a full/semi auto gun to hit it from a distance

You can tame it. It’s a passive tame and you have to feed it /forcetame

It can be tamed but it only takes 1 food

Use a titan and knock it back out of the ground , then shoot a cannonball at it, two hits should do it

Rexes, Rexes, and more Rexes. Also bring rocket launcher, friends with rocket launchers and finally, REXES. There is no such thing as “ I don’t need any more Rexes”.

Hi this is dark dragon so I receantly posted the fell into the wyvern trench so hears some details o and im a bad speller so he said hay you feel that and I’m like yeah so since he’s new to the game he go’s what is it I go probably just moles that’s wen I bola him he said can we tame them? I said yes it’s a easy nockut tame he go’s yea! So I say I’m going to check on base he go ok that’s wen it attacked him I’m thinking sorry so I headed back. As soon as I saw the wyvern i dropped all my stuff I knew I was dead so I got my stuff back and helped my friend get his stuff back so we’re still friends

So me and my friend were going to the dunes and he go’s I feel the ground moving I bola him and run so I ran far and then poof a wyvern was on my tale I was so focused on the wyvern that I wasn’t looking ware I was going i fell off the wyvern trench and met a fiery dimis

If it was tameable

(!) To tame the Deathworm, treat it as a passive tame, so feed it, hide from it, feed it, and repeat.

Get an ascendant shield and sword and back off when it makes a circle of sand then put out your shield and March forward attack two times then put up your shield and repeat until there is a dead Deathworm or get a Wyvern and park it on a cliff get an ascendent assault rifle and shoot it or make a pile of oil and light it up and make the Deathworm go through it countless times. Don't forget to pump some carry weight on you and your Wyvern and harvest away. P.S. When fighting the Deathworm for your own good hope you aren't squishy!

This animal is not tameable at all unless you use ForceTame like me

If you do forcetame it, it is not rideable or controllable all it does is jump out of the ground repeatedly and eventually despawns. It is much better to just kill it and get the stuff.

You can tame it with 72 Mejoberry Seed. If you encounter one, it will attempt to eat you. Do not feed without Ghille. If you want to tame it fast, Use 33 Raw Prime Meat.
