Daeodons are dangerous pack creatures that can heal one another, making them difficult to defeat unless separated, frightened, immobilized, or attacked from a safe distance. To tame one, isolate or trap it, provoke its healing to drain its food, then knock it unconscious and feed it preferred kibble or meat while maintaining its torpor. Once tamed, it provides powerful area healing for allied creatures during combat, breeding, and other demanding situations, but its healing rapidly consumes food, so keep it well supplied and disable the ability when unnecessary.
