A good level daeodon is by far the best creature, along with Moschops and the elephant pig to tame desmoduses.

So your playing any map but gen 2 well this can be used as a baby feeding trough like the meawing not by giving the baby food but by healing the baby so it doesn’t die just keep its food high

Very useful for taming desmodus as you can use the heal effect to heal creatures up and get more blood filled syringes or whatever it’s called

After turning off it’s healing ability, put remove all stacks of normal raw meat but leave the prime meat in the daeodon’s inventory, prime meat will make refilling the daeodon’s hunger a lot faster then normal raw meat.

At this moment, Daeodons DO NOT get a pack bonus and only eat meat/kibble. Its healing ability has a minimum regeneration of 3 health per tick (about 1.8 ticks per second) and a maximum of about .2% of Max health. This holds true until above 100k Max health, where the regeneration is at a much lower and random percentage (Tested on single player with my caveman eyes, so please correct me if I'm wrong).

These things are super useful if you want a wyvern but don’t want to do the whole process of getting a wyvern, you turn on passive healing and when the baby wyvern hatches you don’t have to give it wyvern milk but just let the daedon keep healing the baby. Super useful and easy

Daeodons should be on the island in ark mobile so people who don’t have god console still heal their Dino’s not wasting their time on meat and sweet vegetable cakes

Very good for bosses mainly to keep your other Rex's alive

If you do power leveling by killing Deathworms, this creature is the best sidekick you can have. Can rapidly heal your Wyverns, Rexes or any other creature you use to kill the vermin.

If you render out of distance of these they will eat all of their food do healing is easier, also level up food

A good name for this is John pork

Don’t pump his food too much because when you go out of render of them they will eat everything until they’re full

If your playing solo you can instantly feed your daeodon by putting a bunch of food and then going out of rendering distance and when you come back the deaodon will be Full

Put most of the levels into the food stat as this is what is used for healing other tames and will drain whilst healing, the more points into food means the daeodon can heal for longer.

It’s useful for healing, yes but it also eats a crap tonne of food to heal. I once had one and it ate multiple stacks of meat in a few minutes with healing on. Still helpful for breeding and raising tames.

Also gather a good amount of berries and seeds

Just so everyone knows, do NOT bring these things into the boss arena unridden. Just use them to heal your creatures after the fight. Their healing in the boss fight is pretty mediocre because they tend to waste all their food early on, and bringing multiple daeodons sacrificed damage from what could have been a few rexes instead. However, if you have more than 1 player ridden daeodons will be a lot less wasteful and the player on them can use a shotgun when they’re not healing.

Be carful you need to always check on it it will use the food as Health and it eats meat so make sure it always as meat using heal mode not

Make sure these guys have a lot of food/put a couple points into food. If you have a pack and have a baby wyvern to grow these will keep it alive so you dont need to feed it milk. They also heal all nearby dinos pretty quickly (Ps they have a cute little dance when you level them up)
