So these guys have a very specific food restore, that's different from most dinos.cooked meat restores more of it's food than raw, and it will eat out of a trough before it eats out of its own inventory. It will like most dinos, eat raw foods before cooked ones, even though cooked restores more of it's food.

Before you get one,remember this........they eat like pigs (ok I know they are pigs but still) I gave it 78 fish meat and it ate all of it in a minute and wanted more

Pro tip: prime meat will fill them up

If their food is low,Fill the meat in their inventory or in food trough and move out of render distance. Food value will auto fill according the quantity of food. You dont have to force feed them.

IF YOURE TAMING TO RAISE WYVERNS it will work but you have to stay near it the entire time. If you leave the area or get off, the pig unrenders and it'll stop healing and kill the wyvern.

Grab three pigs with two females and one male=unlimited healing

Time for every tribe to build a hospital! These healers are amazing, you can go out on your wyvern getting meat to feed them and when healed up getting meat again because they never stop eating. A never ending cycle, fun!

Idk if it was just mine, but I'm pretty sure their food goes down SUPER fast when tamed. Same goes for when being tamed. Mine died a day after I logged off due to starvation. Rip Bacon. He was so young...😢😢😢😢

This guy is a great cave Dino tame. Does great damage, good health, and you can heal your buddies. Also sense force feeding it prime will fill it hunger faster you should have no problem healing sense a lot of caves have titanoboa (they drop prime if for some reason you didn’t know)

For mobile players: Daeodons, jerboas and troodons are ONLY FOUND IN DUNGEONS! Very annoying I know right.

Eats even faster than me, be sure to have literal TONS of food in its inventory

Here are 3 tips to maximize heal usage for daeodons:

1: If a daeodon runs out of food, don't force feed it until it's back at full. Instead, leave render distance then go back, and the daeodon will be fully fed so long as it had enough food.

2: Cook any meat with an Industrial Grill before feeding it to a daeodon. Cooked meat give more food, so you won't waste as much meat if it's cooked before eaten.

3: Most medium to large water creatures, such as Manta, Ichthyo, and Megalodon, give rediculous amounts of meat compared to other creatures, use this to your advantage when looking for food for your Daeodon.

These are very good at healing keep in mind their food is like manna so be sure to level it up. also keep three of them together the Boost is way better

To tame they take a lot of meat so be prepared

If the daedon runs out of food while healing, go out of its render distance while there is food in its inventory and it will fill its hunger automatically all the way

If you are doing boss battles these are good for healing your tames!

There is actually a glitch/trick for the daeodon, fill it up with a crap ton of meat, and leave render. When you come back the daeodons food bar will be 100% filled up.

After you tamed it listen up

Cooked meat,you want it to be efficent cooked meat is what it loves,if you can afford it Cooke prime

After your not using him a feeding through with raw meat full of it,and check every 5 hours to see how much it has left

If you run out of milk while raising a wyvern get one of these with a trough full of food and enable passive healing. Also give the baby stimulant to keep it conscious.

Use pteranodon kibble to regenerate food. Kibble gives tremendous food regeneration. .

One of my favorite creatures, I love this creature it makes a great tame it had very good damage and health, I did the passive healing during taming trick and it was super fast . It has very good mobility and agility. It it fit more in caves I would definitely use it.

Daedons or pumba as i call them are op. Rexs raptors baryonyx allos and carnos are no match for 1 of these. I have 3. One on each of the realms in fjordur and have yet to lose one of them. Great for exploring and can be used as a pack mule. Snow owls heal better than these so i use them as self healing tanks
