Taming daodons is extremely easy, make sure you slowly damage them before knocking them out so they use their radius heal ability because it will drain the food before it knocks out so if done right it should finish a raw meat tame before filling its food. A great trick to daodons in war is to fully fill them with meat and then take them to a place where they arenβt rendered by anyone in the server and fly away, when you come back if no one was rendered it will have eaten every bit of the meat and you can heal with it again.

When ramming before you knock out. Try and get it to preform its healing attack. This will drain the food and instant tame. Make sure people see!

So super easy way to tame these guys, Hit them once with any kind of fast moving of flying dino and let them use their healing. After the healing aura goes away Ko them. Instatamed since their food meter is fully empty π
I tamed mine with the help of the icebergs in the artic. My Argentavis picked him up and I flew him over.ππ
They will use their healing move in the wild and this actually makes taming these burly beasts much easier preventing accidental deaths and making them hungry leading to a 30 second tame
A thing to note is that when your taming with meat, it needs a hell ton of meat. Like HELL ton.
Use Traq arrows to knock because it will take more damage and forces it to heal itself and as a result draining more food. This will drastically decrease how long it takes to tame.
When KOβing them, they use up food when they use their healing move. As such, they will tame very fast when knocked out so make sure to put a ton of meat in their inventory.

You can bola it and shoot it under its chin. This counts as a headshot with is 3x faster
