The webs can be switched between charged and non charged

Cosmo is an unreleased creature in Ark Survival Ascended. It is expected to appear on the upcoming Aberration map. Cosmo is a shoulder-mounted spider that is scared of players and will run away when it sees them. A tamed Cosmo can:

1. Scare off enemy creatures with its light.

2. Replace the grappling hook and possibly move like a Bloodstalker (though this is uncertain).

3. Dance.

Overall, it’s a good replacement for Sinomacrops, as they have very similar abilities. This information may not be accurate, as the spider is not yet released. The tentative release date is September 4, 2024.

You need chitin or plant species seeds it’s a passive tame feed it when the light is green then wait until it goes green again then approach it and feed it

They also eat all seeds besides meat to raise. That's all we use for them.

Low level baby cosmos can run out of food before eating triggers. It'll hold out till it can eat two meats. You may have to force feed it once or twice. I usually just take the food out and put back in until it starts eating.

If u switch to shooter mode you can use it as a whip to whip dinos or even pick up Stuff on the ground like a normal whip

They dangle from strings! Pretty easy to spot if you are running around and notice that you might have walked through a spiderweb. Once you spot a string, the spider is hanging from the bottom.

Cosmo has a charge web that can be enabled.

If he is in attack mode on your shoulder, or on your arm and shooting mode, they will electrify a reaper if hit making them run away, clearing the playing field for you wild farming surface drops

When you first encounter it it will be peaceful feed it Plant species Z seed and or Chitin. Once you do this it jump around then crest a webbed mound where he or she will flash red or green for a game red light or green light. When it is green run up before it turns red. If not just crouch just to be safe, then wait for it to be green again. Then rinse and repeat if necessary. If you mess up it will attack you for like 2 seconds then just wait for it to mound up again.

1. Put chitin in your last slot on your hotbar.

2. Play Red Light/Green (technically white) Light

3. When close enough, feed the Cosmo the chitin.

4. Swing like Spider-man

After you feed it when it’s green, runaway a little bit as fast as you can and the spider will often stay in the same spot.

Depending on the area you encounter them, they can get stuck trying to get away from you to continue the red/green game. The taming progress slowly depletes in-between feedings, so the faster you can give em some space and get the lil guy lighting up red/green again, the better.
