In aboration you can tame it with a fishing basket. There is actually a good use. This is finally a water creature that can do the classic, strap c4, attack, boom.

Also the bigger fish do give more meat, and may give more prime fish when killed by the correct creature. They can sometimes cause lag due to how many of them spawn, these tasty fish spawn in the hundreds
