On mobile thaey are vary dangerous because they shock you and dismount you unless you are on a basilo

If you don’t have a shock immune tame yet there are other ways to kill them. You can use a flier like an argentavis to kill ones that are at the surface or a lystro’s height below. Crossbows also work to eliminate them. If you have (based on game settings) an OP otter or something on your shoulder with attacking target or neutral it doesn’t get stunned so you can have something to fight back. The other way is to kill it quickly with a tame, you have at least 1-3 seconds before it shocks the dino.

To kill It lure it to shore where it can’t get you get just close enough to hit it and it won’t be able to do anything to you and you can kill it

If your stuck in the water with them use a ranged weapon to hit them before they touch you

Can't be tamed but get a mosasaur - doesn't get affected by the shock so easily kill them and cause the mosasy has eaten it you have the biotoxin

These guys are very annoying if you step even a little close to them they will go to you and kill you if you’re trying to kill one of them I suggest you use a crossbow or a bow while they are annoying they drop things called biotoxin they are like two narcotics mixed together in one thing so definitely go and kill some

Listen fokes these guys are deadly especially when they are more than one which they only ride in packs of four lol

Anyways don't avoid them u really need these guys draw then to you get in the water until your head is under then they will swim at you when they get close enough back out of the water and they will reach the limit of how close they can come to shore then u can either melee them with any melee weapon ( spear is best do not use throw attack) or use a bow and arrow not tranqs just regular arrows they will die these guys aren't really that great at health once u kill em all u can farm then using a hatchet it pick get bio toxin which is like a the narco berry times ten it will keep any dino sleep longer great for taming pteronadon and u can make shock arrows with this stuff I believe

They drop Bio Toxin and can be found almost anywhere in the water.

Try this for some fun with a tribe mate both of y’all get a sword and swim around not on raft and who ever gets the most bio toxin without dieing wins

Parked my raft base at shore on the island and my sarco and meg were following it and we were ambushed, they were focusing on my meg so I had to whistle my sarco onto land, I almost lost Gator-@ids that day. Bio toxin kinda useful tho.

Bro when I first started playing ark I had no problem with the ocean, shoot I didn’t even know there were things worse than this down in the deep blue but when I finally took a swim with my dilo this became the sole reason I never ventured down there ever again. Rip Dennis the menace :(

there's a bug where when you punch it it does little damage and I got bio toxins for it so bio toxins is that item when you eat it you sleep for like 10 minutes so just prank your friends with them not eat them because if there's another cnidiara it will kill you also megladons kill you so just don't annoy them like other animals alright...

Avoid them like the plague. They killed my 120 lvl trike and lvl 80 sarco, and also killed me more times than all creatures combined
