Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a chalicotherium? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a chalicotherium.
Will eat azulberrys after tamed
USE A GHILIE SUIT!
In a beer barrel put thatch and berries in it have a glass jar and once beer is made it will go into the jar then tame this fellow
Use ghillie armour and a cactus broth, feed from behind and do it ever minute. Enjoy your new poop thrower
Dont believe anyone who says that berries can be used to tame them. Beer is always the way to go. it takes too long but its the best way
Get on your scorpion and find a challi then feed it from on your mount I tried my thery and it worked it did not Agro I was even on top of it without a problem except for it getting bothered by puny dilos
When taming this creature, like 50%+ of the total tame time is waiting after the first beer. Once the timer comes up again it goes by fast.
You can’t trap it or else it’s health will keep going down and I think that it will refuse beer.
Pillar it in place so it doesn't wander into trouble 3/4 of the way through. Put a bunch of pillars in your hotbar and run into it on a mount, then lock it into one area. Leave for a while to lose aggro
I have done it I have successfully tamed one with a stimberry
So what I was on an instant tame server.
Can anyone confirm or deny if you can tame with wheatbeer in prim plus?
New delemas, playing again after 3 years to find out the games been broken more than it was before. Also prim plus kibble is still broken
ive found this best for a few dinos but, wait fr it to be fighting a Trisaratops then sneak up behinde it and insert the beer
If you see someone saying that Chalicotheriums will get instantly enraged if you feed them a stimberry but you are desperate for a Chalicotherium, don’t listen to them. Chalicotheriums are actually peace-loving creatures and will only get angry and attack if you get too close (their temperament is “Territorial” which should explain that). So just wear Ghillie armor and maintain a distance and your Chalicotherium should remain calm throughout the taming process, assuming no predators attack it. Hopefully this helps you.
Build an octogon like structure out of dino gates, drop it in with a quetz, gear up in ghilie, and boom, you have yourself a Chalicotharium
If you are not taming it if it is near your base, lure it away, as it is aggressive towards players and tamed dinos when they are too close! I lost all my dinos, except my dilo, Destiny, to one that was nearby! RIP Patrica the Parasaur and TBag the Trike ?
if you run out of beer and its almost tamed you can finish it off with stimberries (0.1% taming each)
Get it somewhere that you can get it stuck to tame it
You can tame it with stimberries, but don't bother. Seriously it takes forever.
Occasional bug after feeding 1 beer it will stop allowing passive tame (won't become hungry again) stick around for 5-10 mins and will often fix itself. If not agro it and then try again once it calms down.
For the people who didn’t know what I ment by bear sloth on my space whale tip this is a bear sloth hope that clears things up :) - A.L.N.A
