If your a low level STAY AWAY FROM THESE THEY CAN DEMOLISH REXES &SPINOS, if you tame this... your set 4 life they can kill ANYTHING ALPHA OR NOT, (only if the cal is a high level)

Taming a chalicotherium is pretty easy all you really need is a jar of more of beer IF your taming speed in your game is set to default or fast and full on ghille armour. When you encounter a chalico make sure to be in the crouch position (press the right joystick) and just sneak behind it and feed it the beer. Make sure to put the beer at the end of your hotbar! I made that mistake many times and almost got killed

I've learned that you CAN use stimberries as another option but it takes 27h so be prepared for a very long tame!

You will need full ghillie and a friend on a strong fighting mount to keep the area clear of strong aggressive dinos. Also DO NOT attempt to cage before taming. He will only take one beer while in a cage, might be a glitch that will be patched but we tested it 4 times. On the 5th we released him and it worked perfectly.

Never ever ever get near this beast.When I first tried to tame it, it falcon punched and killed me!if you want to try to tame it, have at least three dilos and a spear just in case.

Beware! Like the therizinosaurus, chalicotherium while it is herbivorous and therefore shouldn’t attack you unprovoked, it does. Approach with caution, up close it will slash you with it’s big claws and from a distance it will throw poop at you, causing you to temporarily loose the ability to sprint and it blocks your vision. Attack with a range weapon and find high ground. This includes bow, crossbow, any gun, slingshot, cannon, turret and other weapons that can fire from a distance.

If you want to kill them at low level use a trike

I found these guys chilling, I tried taming them by knocking it out, realising it's passive, so I tried to go away for it to unaggro, after that, I went ahead to feed its preferred beer, i saw the heaven lights.

Why are people saying it throws dirt when it hits you the effect literally says “POOP HIT”

Dudes trapped in between two trees I'm barely level 25 now how tf am I gonna tame it's appetite now won't be able to fill it's maw with 40 or so the instructed berries 🙂

If you want a army of these guys is simple just tame a male and a feamale and breed you may have a chance to get a super mutaions on one

I will tame these drunk horses in the early stages of the game for defense against enemy tames people and other animals that are out in the glorious ark I also like them for getting berries and wood and with the gathering efficiency doubled it gets this stuff FAST!

If you are low level these things can one shot you don't approach at a low level

Heres a tip, do not fight these creatures because if you are a low level, they will attack you.
