They share spawns with common beach tames. I found 2 on center around blue ob by circling the island on a char and killing everything that spawns. They are a rare spawn so it takes a while. Taming them varies depending on the cats temperament. Red or yellow you have to let them latch on your face and run to water to get them off then they'll allow you to feed them. Green is just passive feed.

They can no longer be tamed in water it was just patched. I heard if they don't want to be tamed by you, you have to kill everything in the area then it would change.

1. Grapple hook the cat and take it to your base.

2. If the cat is yellow or red… go to a different server then come back. The cat will be green.

3. Wyvern milk, raw prime fish meat, cooked mutton etc…

We tamed 10 tonight

Use a gene scanner to locate wear gillie and use prime, fish meat, fish meat, or cooked mutton, presto, free cat

If your tribe mates tame one and you go to pet it, the cat will hiss and you but will purr for the person that tamed it.

Getting raw prime fish meat is easier than making kibble

What is the point of the patch if I can’t find a green symbol cat I liked the water method

Since Wildcard patched the cat throwing into the water, there is a workaround. So if the cat is red (not tamable), you can go to another map with your character and then log out. Then log in to the map with the cat, I then had a green symbol, tamed it and released it (also works in a public box in the cryo), then parked the character on another server and switched to this map with the current character and claimed the cat. just workaround.

To tame these cats you need to have either raw prime meat or raw prime fish meat there are certain types of cats which only like 1 of the times you can see this by a red icon above its head if it’s red run if it’s green start the taming process note you do t not need to have I. Your hotbar will automatically take from inventory.

Passive tame but you have to find one with a green icon above it's head other wise it won't want to be tamed.

I almost accidentally attacked one, realized what it was, and put some raw prime in my last slot and followed it around for a minute. Tamed it with no issue. This was at night so maybe they’re nicer then?

Don't approach when it has a red rex head above it!!! Only Green!!!

If you are having trouble finding one just get on a carcha and kill everything on blue on island on the Center and eventually they will start spawning in. It might take a while

Having a Spyglass is a Must as it stops you from potential getting mauled (by the cat you're looking at at least).

From there, if it has a Green Icon above it's head, then you're go to go passive feed it some prime meat and the Cat distribution will work as instead.

If its Yellow or Red icon, it will try to attack you, hope you're near some water and jump in.

If it says "this cat doesn't want to be tamed by you" try a different Cat

Use fish or prime fish meat. Wear Gilly.

Just go up to it slowly and make sure it see you and feed prime fish

You can pet the cat. However, there is a cooldown :(

Get salt x1 stack of 6 > Use Gene scanner to find Ovis > kill ovis get mutton > find cat > tame green iconed cats/ kill red+orange iconed ones (as been patched and can no longer be tamed in water) > tame afew and breed > feed kittens fish meat in a Mae/troughs *Happy Arking ppl*
