Cats stop ichys and pegos from stealing from ya. Also stops micro raptor from dismounting.

They literally have 9 lives in ark.

Second tip about the cat and second one I post about the cat. The cat can scare microraptors, seagulls and pegos. They also can wear helmets. By the way if you pvp someone you kill their cat they won’t wipe your base they will wipe your family tree.

Make sure it has a green dino symbol above its head before approaching it. If it has a yellow/ red symbol then be aware that it will scratch your face off. To get it off your face then jump into the water.

Use prime fish meat to passive tame... if you attack one it will scratch your face ( I had to try it for ark science)

You can located some on Ragnarok in the castle at the bottom of castle. The castle is in the swamp area.

The cat has nine lives!! If it does and you pick up its essence there is a life counter and you can reanimate it

They can say « this cat does not want to be tamed by you

The kitty is NOT a good kitty.

Transferring off and back on to a server DOES NOT change a red/orange cat to green. Have just tried this. Cat still red.

I literally tamed one with raw meat.

Definitely not an April's fool joke, they show up on the genescanner and attack when approached.. not a pleasant first encounter lol

You can find them on the Asa Ragnorok map inside the western swamp castle around 43, 19 they also spawn around the area and on the island to the west of the castle but several spawn inside the castle 🐈🏰

Cats spawn in ragarok in the bottom floor of the swamp castle.idk if it was glitch but I fed it prime meat and it tamed instantly.

Already had one bite my face off… beware..😂

I don’t know why, but the Cat and Pyromane don’t have the shoulder mount tags(at the time of writing this at least). I’m guessing it’s because they are newer, but it is funny that both of the cats were left out lol.

You can find them in the swamp castle or near beach's, if it has green above its head it's passive if it has red it will attack

If you find a good high level kitty that has a yellow or red icon above its head and not green, you CAN still tame it.

Aggro it, let it latch to your face, jump in water and the icon should be green making it safe to tame.
