The best way to fill the trust meter is to drag a dead baby rex body to it. Only takes one for it to get friendly. No trap necessary, just clear the area around it so wild dinos don't eat your rex while you're dragging it.

How to tame this guy easily.

Hatch a baby - rex

Make the Rex unconscious and kill it.

Bring the carcase near Carcha.

Make Carcha smell the dead baby rex

Make sure Carcha eat the Rex

Mount Carcha and kill some dinos with it.

And now you can have a Carcha with easy tame!

For me I would not trap it because it is easier to tame it for me then once it eats I run away or hop on my PT because it is so fast that it’s hard for me to get it into the large bear trap. Also I had a Carcha on a server I was playing my best friend she got it for me it was purple at the time purple was my favorite color and I took a really cool picture with redwood and the Green Ob in the background I made it my PlayStation background I I still have it as my background 2 years later but at the time we were living in a cave then we got raided as I always do I run out of the cave with my carcha and trying to kill the enemy that was raiding us he had a buddy they had tek suits so there was nothing I could do with my carcha it was a hard cave to get in because there was a valley at the entrance of the cave you would have to fly in there so when I ran out they had tek suits there was no way to get back up and sadly my carcha died😥it was probably one of the saddest ARK experiences I have ever had to this day I am still on a server looking for a carcha that looks exactly like it nonstop on the game looking for the carcha hoping that someday I will find my carcha Thank you for reading this🥹

If you do have a moral compass and don’t wanna kill a baby rex/spino then 2 trikes baby or not also do the trick in filling its trust bar

You can tame w/o trap if you have high movement speed (150%+). Just kill rex and drag the body for it to eat, it should be enough to fill the trust meter. If you don't have a rex just bring anything for it and as soon as it starts sniffing leave body and run to your flier and repeat.

It’s hard but drag dead body to it until friendship meter is full then ride it and kill stuff with it and it’s also helpfull if you tame a couple wooly mamoths and set them passive then unclaim them before you ride him so you can eat them for more taming effectiveness if you struggle to follow this go watch sentac tame the dino as he is better at showing you how to do it

To spite everyone who says just forcetame it, it's just a trophy tame, they are wrong. The real way of taming it is to bring some corpeses that you can drag, and feed it until it's your friend, traps will glitch this. After it's your friend, you go on a magically saddleless rampage and get as many kills as you can. The friendlynese will go down over time, and when over it will boot you and kill you. Here's how I tamed a 145 Carcha. Traps do work you just need to make sure it has enough space to move around. I recommend just feeding it a baby rex as it will fill the trust bar to 100 (higher levels may need 2) once it trust you just feed it some sacrifice tames. I would also recommend rexes for this but anything which you can get high health on should work fine. I just leveled them up till they had like 60k health and I only had to kill 2 to instantly tame (1 would probably been enough but I think both died at the same time). My rates were 5x but this should still work perfectly fine on lower rates. Hope this helps and go tame yourself a high level carcha!

You don’t need a trap but it is easier with a trap

To anyone who does not know this. The giga will take up a spawn for the carcha so if you don’t find any but you find giga I would kill or tame the giga and you might find a carcha. They are also tamed the same way as a giga. Click up if this was helpful
