Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a bulbdog? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a bulbdog.
Get one immediately! Passive tame with aquatic mushroom. It alerts to enemy players and creatures as well as keeps away the nameless provided its light is charged. Also get its health right up as mine finished off a level 70 raptor after it killed me and I managed to get all my stuff back
When one is on your shoulder you can see an icon telling you a level 150 is near by.
My very first tame in aberration

YOU CAN TAME IT JUST WITH COOKED MEAT WITH HIGH EFFECTIVENESS!!!
Might need defense for animals around you but other than that these don't need knockout!

easy tames. all you need is a few aquatic mushrooms. then you walk up to it and give it some of the aquatic mushrooms. after they’re tamed, they will only eat aquatic mushrooms, so make sure you have some for it to eat after taming. instead of stamina, they have a charge capacity stat. only upgrade that. it will allow them to provide light for a lot longer.

Great early stage Dino to tame. Great for scouting players and wild Dino's
They are breedable, seems they have the times of a dodo.
IT'S NOT A CHIHUAHUA! IT'S NOT A PITBULL!
It is a passive tame so put the item in the last slot of your bar. Use aquatic mushrooms and it'll be yours. :)
tame scrub bulbdog for charge, use light by plant z and wait. After gathering some plant Z seeds go tame a REAL 150 dog that stands up at 224 with a few seeds. ^_^
Use aquatic mushrooms to tame. Eats berrys once tamed. They provide light so you can see and farm in the dark.
Just go up to it and feed it meat works for me
I dunno if this has changed in the years since release, but I've used Cooked Meat Jerky to tame my bulbdogs.
You go up behind it to feed it
Use bulldog to find max level Dino’s. Keep the light range low to medium as finding the dino once notified can be hard with such a large radius. Use points on re charge rate and health.
Tame a pack of cute lantern pugs and claim a victory against the elements!
If you manage to trap a wild bulb dog in a cage, you officially have the easiest passive tame
The Bulbdog is a passive tame, and eats berries, but I've noticied that aquatic mushrooms are the most effective at taming. You find these mushrooms by harvesting small mushrooms with your hands.
