Maps: Valgero, abberation, Genesis 1&2 and Fjdour

Game type: ASA and ASE (Ark survival ascended/evolved)

Where to find: in space in Genesis 1 in caves, in hard areas in Genesis 2, in some caves in Fjdour, everywhere in abberation, and in caves/anywhere in Valgero.

How to tame:

You will need at least 10 aquatic mushrooms

Just walk up to a bulbdog and feed one mushroom then wait a bit and keep doing that until tamed.

The light can be used to make the nameless killable and keep more from spawning in. The emote lighten up can also be used to easily activate the light.

Bulbdogs are an essential first light pet, necessary for your first ventures into the blue zone so here’s how to tame one

1. These angler fish pugs are all over the green zone so it’s really easy to find one. They usually can be found in bunches as well.they eat the aquaticshrooms and seeds from the healing tongue plants. The seeds pop out if you wait by them long enough. I really recommend using seeds for high levels because they make it way faster and have much better taming effectiveness

2. The Bulbdogs are a passive tame so you just need to walk up and feed it with the food in the last slot of the hotbar. It’s good to kill all nearby aggressive creatures because they will attack you and the bulbdog if it wanders too close. You won’t need a trap unless you are really having trouble taming it without being mauled by ravagers or raptors, but they are generally a waste of resources.

Tame one of these as soon as you enter a new game. They provide free light and it’s light can damage specific creatures. e.g. Reaper, Nameless ect

Passive tame, provides light, the light keeps nameless away, but draws reapers and seekers, it’s inventory acts like a fridge, doubles the life of spoilibles and preserving salts increase the length more, can store honey as long as a bear can.

When one is on your shoulder you can see an icon telling you a level 150 is near by.

Get one immediately! Passive tame with aquatic mushroom. It alerts to enemy players and creatures as well as keeps away the nameless provided its light is charged. Also get its health right up as mine finished off a level 70 raptor after it killed me and I managed to get all my stuff back

Easy tame, PASSIVE AND IF YOU TOUCH THIS BULDDOG SO HELP ME- anyways good f9r keeping away nameless.

These guys are incredibly useful from being a portable light that works for a long time to being a cute little friend in hardship. Do not kill these, they are too cute, I died to a basilisk on a mana and the bulbdog jumped off and ran strait for it... I now have a graveyard near my base. R.i.p Bulbdog dude

YOU CAN TAME IT JUST WITH COOKED MEAT WITH HIGH EFFECTIVENESS!!!

Might need defense for animals around you but other than that these don't need knockout!
