this is a very cute and good tame slobery fish dog with a face only its mother could love. but it can light up. useful for reaper queen impregnation due to light up.

Their light keeps the baddies away. It's a new mechanic called "charge." Having light with you makes you a good bit safer.

THEY ARE NOT AMPHIBIOUS, ALL SHOULDER PETS CAN BE UNDERWATER WITHOUT DROWNING AS LONG AS THEY ARE ON YOUR SHOULDER.

When they find a max level dino they give a few high pitched barks and u get a buff in the bottom Right of your screen warning you.

So no one mentions this for Console,To turn Any glow creatures light on when on your shoulder you need to go to emotes and (wait for it) Clap,you clap so it turns on the lights

You need a Glow Puppy! Scary things lurk in the dark and these help keep them away. Passive tame, aquatic mushrooms. Carryable on shoulder. Recommended to be your first tame.

To activate/deactivate the light without removing it from your shoulder, hold 't' on PC and in the emote menu choose 'light.'

Special note: the charge regen stat is ALSO the bulb dogs oxygen stat! They don’t need it when on your shoulder but the can and will drown if trapped underwater.
