Uh oh, time for stupid fan fic!

Chapter 4: Broken promises

Sequoia watched her husband march away from the palace, promising to crush this new army of “giant” and “terrifying” carnivores. How would they even stand a chance, the herbivores had ruled for hundreds of years! Sequoia puzzled in her head.

2 days later..

Sequoia sat on her husbands throne, constantly being offered drinks and meals. She was exhausted, how did her husband handle this attention EVERYDAY?! Sequoia constantly had headaches and snapped at her servants, the pressure was getting to her finally.

She decided to rest in her chambers around midday, and ordered zero interruptions, no exception.

She had awoken after a glorious nap. Sequoia took a step out or her chambers to find bloody, ragged soldiers keeled over on medical mats while the doctors tended to wounds.

“WHAT HAPPENED?!” The queen immediately roared, baffled. Sequoia lifted her foot to see blood all over her carpets and tapestries around the hall.

“Th- the carnivores knew.. they knew we were attacking..” the closet wounded soldier spat. They had a whole front arm bitten off, and they looked like they were in torturous pain.

“Why didn’t you wake me you idiots! I could’ve done something about it!!” The queen shrieked, feeling guilty. Her army was dying and nobody even woke her up to care, her husband could be dead, and nobody even considered it?!?!

“Y-you ordered to not be woken, y-your majesty..” a wiry Iguanodon doctor said, shrinking when the queen glared at them. “This is more important then my rest! We need to take action! I’ll lead the army myself! I’m done with these carnivore attacks!” The queen announced, fuming.

“There’s another thing you s-should know your majesty.. your husband was killed..” the same doctor whimpered.
