You can place metal floor on a shoulder pet and the eggs on the floor and the basilisk will agro on the shoulder pet when neer, and will eat the eggs when ready. the hard part is getting the basilisk over to the trap

How to tame a basilisk First, you’re going to want to get fertilized magmasaur Eggs, Then you’re gonna wanna put platform on top of a shoulder pet Then you’re going to want to go to a high platform wait for the basilisk to aggro Onto the shoulder pet then use magmasaur or rock drake eggs Keep repeating until it’s tamed now you know how to tame a basilisk👍

I think you should be able to hatch them by putting a fertilized beelzebufo or titanoboa egg in a male dodo's inventory, referencing how they're supposedly created according to folklore.

These things suck to trap.

Just fly high health argy or griffin over the basilisk while dropping the eggs, doing this on lost island was one of the easiers tames ive gotten

Do the following to tame a basilisk, the poison wyvern ball shooting snake:

1) make a trap (100% made)

2) get a basilisk mad at you (at least shoot it!!)

3) run into and out of the trap with your procoptodon.

4) go up your ramp and drop a egg (3 types only)

5) you have tamed a basilisk!

Wait!! Make a saddle first, you UNSMARTY!

Don’t drop the eggs in one big pile, instead line them up for easier tame.

Just toss a glow pet down on passive, place a metal foundation on top of the pet, and throw down a fert Drake egg (or other egg these guys like) and kite a basilisk to it. It aggros on the glow pet and keeps biting without hurting glow pet. Easy auto tame for basi.

I really wish you could feed them other eggs like wyvern eggs. It’s hard finding cluster servers sometimes.

1. If you’re on genesis, get yourself the Mag egg.

2. Find a basillisk

3, take your grapple hook and slingshot yourself onto a high rock

4. Drop the egg

You have yourself a giant snake!

Their venom spit can be very far range and it’s good when raiding or being raided as you can just spit venom at everyone from a distance and watch everyone and everything die.

I just tamed my 1st basilisk a 150 90% effective. I put 4 dino gates around the basilisk whilst it was burrowed i then used a whip to agro it while on a drake then drop the egg. rinse and repeat. hope this helps.

Throw lightpet near basi place foundation ontop of light pet an basi will lock onto the light pet

If taming on Gen 2 take 2 to 3 more void eggs especially during the event the taming % are a little off . It took 4 void eggs for a lvl 95

You cant make a saddle whilst you are playing on genesis

no not all eggs work for taming. Void wyrm eggs worked best for me

Easiest way is to throw you glow pet on the ground then place a foundation on top of it then you throw down the eggs and lead the basilisk to the foundation and it will sit there trying to eat the glow pet and will eat the eggs in the process and tame very easily

I used a crab since they dont seem to aggro to them. Just dropped the egg near it, hopped off for a second and back on the crab again to get it out of the ground and it slithered around till it was hungry enough to eat the egg. Kill everything around it aswell

Super easy on Gen 2!! Hover above them, keep aggro, drop void wyrm eggs every 4mins. Takes 1 extra egg than what Dodoex says! Great carry weight, good for knocking out other times, travel in style!
