When shooting poison out of your snake boi’s mouth, if in the poison radius DONT DISMOUNT, you will die a very miserable death. My brother found this out the hard way.

Honestly don't use the bury feature while you are riding it. To use it press the jump button while riding it. The ability is cool and it makes you untargetable but if you are anywhere near water it will likely glitch and send you and your basilisk through the map and kill you both. I lost a level 100 in the upper mushroom One because of this. The Basilisk is fast enough and tabky enough to run away from anything without using the bury ability anyway.

This beautiful creature has a ton of carry weight, spits like a poison wyvern, can burrow underground and move while you ride it, and can slither over small obstacles. I want one. Just look out for them in your college’s sewer system.

To easily get first rock drake egg, sneak up on person trying to tame a basilisk.

I am posting a kewl, neat, or useful use for each and every tame in ASE, not the cash grab made by a certain molusk… anyways let’s get on with it.

The basalisk is a tame that I personally have never used but would like to in sometime. I love farming and caving, quite possibly the two least liked things in ark but I love them. And the basalisk has the 9th best base weight stat currently so it is great for farming. It has the best weight reduction for stone at 75% which is the same as the doedic but the big snake is faster and has a better overall weight stat. The basalisk is good for more than just grinding on pve, if you are a PvP chump and are into that you can use them greatly for defense in a raid. The taming process is not have as bad as it seems, just trap it in a 4x6 stone trap WITH FLOORS and lure it in with either a ramp or dino gate and throw fertilized wyvern eggs (level doesn’t matter so grab any egg you see in the trench) magmasaur and drake eggs work as well. Drop the eggs in the trap and watch it happen.

This dino looks like the titanoboa 2.0 and this thing can carry 2000 weight so i recomend u to tame one if u need a weight dino

As of ASA they can now breed! they lay eggs

Whilst they may not be able to fit through wood/stone dinosaur gateways, they can git through small tek dinosaur gateways.

When it is underground it does use stamina which means it can not be underground permanently, it is extremely fast when it is underground and untargetable, and when underground it will be blocked by structures such as, walls, foundations, rocks, etc.

Be careful riding this thing underground. You will have your oxygen drain and begin suffocating if you are under too long.
