i was wrong rock drakes don’t spawn on crystal isles it was just the server i was on sorry fiber crafts and their spawning

Just tamed a 130 on gen 2 with void eggs and it took 5 to tame

Just get a light pet on passive and build a foundation on top of it, then put the eggs on top of the foundation and drag the Basilisk close to it. The basilisk will agro on the light pet but won’t be able to get it, and it will eat the eggs.

I was doing pretty well, I have a lot of spinos because I keep breeding and lots of other dinos in what I think is the best region. I wanted to go to the place with the pink crystals to continue on with the game but the first time I went down there I died to radiation. I started thinking better and wanted to use zip lines so I brought my ravager I had with. I was about to shoot the zip line when all of a sudden my ravager got shot by acid. I turned around to see a basilisk sitting behind. He bit me once breaking all of my chitin armor, so I ran away and left behind my ravager. They obviously died and I fell asleep next to a rock and got away. That is my worst encounter with a basilisk.

It does not work with wyvren eggs!! It only works with rockdrake eggs, magmasour eggs, and voidwyrn eggs

In Genesis 2 you tame these with fertilized Voidywrm eggs.

Now with gen two you can tame them without mods thanks for reading and have a good day

Don't try to kill I lost my overpowered snow owl buy you can trap them so they can't burrow it worked for me and if you have dinosbreeding above drop their eggs or just let them fall when their born but don't fall you'll never get yo stuff back.

How I tamed my snek on Abberation:

1. Make a trap (I made a 8x3 stone foundation floor, then put double doorframes 3 walls high, made 9 ramps. Like nooblets’ trap but the basilisk is more likely to get in it)

2. Feed it the unborn children of your rock drakes

3. Name is Foofy and get it an expense saddle :)

If your looking to perfect tame. Build a trap, you’re looking at a behemoth, fence foundations, and door frames. Lure it to trap. Then throw 2 eggs down at a time and start your watch. 2 man team is much better 😉

Whilst it's burrowed approach on the back of a drake or spino. Build 4 dino gates around it without the doors. Jump off your dino and it will come up from the ground and be stuck in the gates. Place eggs around the gates for an easy tame.

Pretty cool at first, bad turn radies, not that good.

Just flying at the volcano in fojdur and noticed movement I look TWO of ye grim reapers where looking at me I swear they smirked and WINKED at me….I got away. was flying pretty high

By the time you should have a rock drake so go up to the basilisk and entrap it in four Dino gates with doors and drop the eggs inside and get off the rock drake and run around the pen until it is tamed I have tamed countless like this with zero deaths

If you’re looking for an easy tame, drop them and deaggro so it burys, that will make it easy. If you want a good one though, you need to avoid letting it bury. I use 8 stone gates in a octogon without doors and a 7 high pillar over the top with ceilings above the middle of the trap. Then you use climbing picks to get right above it, drop the eggs and wait. If it takes more than about 5 minutes to eat an egg or looses aggro music, go down outside the trap. MAKE SURE you have plenty of gas masks or you will die. Masks are better than hazard helmets because hazard breaks based off how many poison hits you, and a lot per poison ball, and gas mask just auto breaks really slowly. Gas mask is much cheaper.
