For any new players going into Aberration... The Portal is the easiest spawn point yes, there is a good spot for Berry gathering and Stone, Thatch, and Wood. However, be wary that Basilisk's will spawn in that area occasionally. Be prepared and watch for the tail poking out of the ground. I recommend you spawn at Fertile Lake 2. Good luck Survivers

Watch out in volcano biome on genesis these oversized drugged titanoboas will kill you while you’re trying to complete a hunting mission just by following the tracks, I think it’s because I’m on a rock drake though
