As someone who breeds Barys, just because you're on land does not mean you're safe. When jumping out of the water the Bary (wild only) can still do the stun attack, so for you Ragnarok dwellers don't be like me and try to kill it with lightning wyvern... It dismounts you and wyvern attack kills you, your shoulder pet, and your gear...

You could also use tranque arrows to be knocked out

Very easy low level tame. Simply bola it, punch or club, then feed it tons of fish, which is easy to get from coleocanths, and feed Marco berries to keep it asleep!

The best way to tame a Bary and lots of other things in 7 easy steps. Step 1 make a stone taming pen. Step 2 get an argi or quetz. Step 3 put Bary or desired creature in pen. Step 4 KO the creature (the pen will keep you safe and the creature in one area) Step 5 starve the creature this app will help. Step 6 put desired food in creatures inventory. Step 7 once tamed take creature out of pen and enjoy!

literally just get on argie, pick up a parasaur and drop it next to it and while its attacking the parasaur grab it and fly it home to your taming pen. its that easy...

On the center map I most commonly find them in the swamps, but all I have incountered are fairly low level.

When you're starting out, get a low level one. With this low level, you can get tons of raw prime fish to get a better baryonyx that will suffice until you get kibble for an even better one

WATCH OUT!!! DO NOT think that the water will keep you safe from these things, they swim fast! Took me and my frog off guard, was trying to get away in the water and sat there for a hot sec to regain my frogs stamina then WAM!! I'm knocked off and knocked out underwater.....they killed my frog ;(

I lost my lvl 70 carno to a level 42 baryonx and it killed me

My best tip in taming this thing is carrying your buddy with a pteranodon and then dropping him into the water beside it, he will swim to sure leading the bary behind him(while being torn to shreds), then while the baryonyx is eating him you can casually bola it and then knock it out.

Can't tame with raw fish or cooked fish in primitive as they are fillets instead of meat...

Basically a spino that isn't cool

My experience with these creatures started when i found a spino and a baryonyx and i didnt know which one to tame (i was level 30 at the time) so i chose the baryonyx i named hime barry and then i found anothe one named her bailey had them mate and 20 baryonyxs later i have an army of fearsome warriors

Just bola and punch. Really not that hard

They only tame with fish meat but once tamed they eat normal meat.

On mobile uf ur gonna lvl them with admin when taming, it could get a lil messed up by that id mean he wont attack u, he will run n stuff but after some time it will attack n tame, just empty ur hotbar n fill with berries. Like SO PPL CAN SEE.
